Homemade sourdough with smoked truffle butter, truffled chillie sauce and truffled salt, truffled eggs with yesterday's truffle on top, home grown persimmon and of course bacon. Colin won't grow pigs so had to buy the bacon

Another treat to try this year

Super Bowl Party Dessert: Truffle Truffles. Both San Francisco and Kansas City are known for chocolate, Ghirardelli and Russell Stover so fans of both teams eat on. Infuse 1 package of cream cheese, 3 cups of chocolate chips, 1 cup of nuts with Oregon Black truffle. Blend cream cheese, melted chocolate and three cups of confectioners sugar. Refrigerate for about an hour. Roll into bite size balls. If you like nuts, roll in infused chopped nuts. Easy sweet treat.

Before the rain arrives....1 hour picking blueberries, 1 hour picking blackberries and 1 hour tidying the back garden. Jed and Sam picked and ate apples, ripe figs and strawberries but they missed 1 strawberry!

We have not told the truffle dogs yet but they will be moving with us.
