It is known for its shopping destinations, contemporary buildings, and a number of amusement parks. One may find cuisines of many cultures including Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Indonesian and many other western-style fast foods here all within this populated city!

Wudalianchi Geopark, or Five Big Linking Lakes, is situated in the northern part of Dedu County, Heilongjiang Province. This geological wonder has a history of over a million years. The eruptions of the volcanoes formed a natural and unique landscape. Wudalianchi National Geopark is also the first mineral spring in Asia and the second-largest worldwide. It is also a pleasant retreat for spa treatments. The Russians are the main customers and this is noticeable from the Russian inscriptions and architectures upon arrival of the village.

Jingbo Lake (Mirror Lake) at 1,150ft above sea level, is the largest alpine barrier lake in China and the second-largest of its kind in the world. It is Located on the Wanda Mountains, in Ningan County of Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province. This lake is famous for its craggy limestone cliffs and its turquoise waters containing 40 types of fish and fresh water coral. As one of the 18 world geoparks in China, Jingbo Lake is a heaven for scientists and travelers with an eye for natural wonders.

The comfortable weather makes it ideal to avoid summer heat, and is a paradise for ice-snow travel during the winter.

The North Pole Village is located in Mohe County in the utmost northern Heilongjiang Province. It is the first village in China styled after Northern Europe and the only place to enjoy aurora borealis and polar phenomenon in the country. Mohe County is widely believed to be the coldest place in China, as the temperature can fall to as low as -45 C degrees in winter.

Khanka Lake, a fresh water lake located on the border of Russia and Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, covering an area of 4,190 sq km. The area around the lake is an important wetland habitat for animal and plants which forms nature reserves for both countries. It is also a paradise for migrant birds every spring, which makes an excellent bird watching spot.

Harbin, capital of the province, which is notable for its ice sculpture festival in winter and national music festival in summer.

If travelers happen to miss both, there is the third choice: European-style architecture and food. The must-go first stop has to be Saint Sophia Cathedral, a former Russian Orthodox church built in 1907.

As a perfect example of Neo-Byzantine architecture, its main structure is laid out like a cross with the main hall topped with a huge green-tipped dome. Under the bright sun, the church and the square resemble Moscow's Red Square.

It has the Zhalong Nature Preserve, a first-class wetland known as a stopover and nesting area for cranes.The marshland is a major migratory route for birds from the Arctic migrating to Southeast Asia. Tourist Attractions along Qiqihar-Urumqi Railway Line

The first Qiqihar-Urumqi railway, K1084, started running on May 15, 2016. Stretching for over 4,000 kilometres, it's the longest railway line in China.

With only 190 US dollars, travelers can cover almost all of Northern China.

Among the 40 stations the train stops at, many are well-known places of interest. It's not practical to visit them all, but the following four pairs of cities are worth travelers' time.

On the western edge of the Gobi Desert, near the ancient oasis town of Dunhuang, China, hundreds of cave temples were carved into a cliff face and decorated with Buddhist wall paintings and sculptures. The caves are known as the Mogao Grottoes.

"Cave Temples of Dunhuang: Buddhist Art on China’s Silk Road"exhibtition explores the significance of the Mogao Grottoes and highlights the more than 25 years of collaboration.

Asia’s ‘steepest cable car’ starts service in Wuling Mountain near Chongqing, south-west China.
This cableway is 634 meters long with a climbing angle at 42.6 degrees compared to the maximum global standard of 45 degrees!!

The elevator was listed into the Guinness World Records, honored as “the highest, the fastest, largest-loaded elevator in the world".

If you are CRAZY for Chinese food and Disney, then Shanghai Disneyland’s restaurant might be the perfect place for you.

The resort released some specialties to be served only at Shanghai Disneyland. The dishes feature a combination of Chinese food and Disney elements, such as Mickey Pork Cake, Mickey Shrimp and more.

Shanghai Disneyland will open to the public on June 16. The special dishes are expected to be offered at the 600 to 1,000 canteens scattered in six different “lands.”

Relax is not a word you hear often in China. The Chinese are in an awfully big hurry to get to the future, and they’re not wasting any time.

When the subject turns to Hangzhou, however, the Chinese discover words you’d begun to think might not exist in Mandarin: Calm. Peaceful. Relaxing.

Hangzhou locals literally can relax by the west lake for all day. But I mean if you have such mesmerizing lake, wouldn't you just want to seat back and do nothing?

Panda Breeding and Research Center home to nearly 50 giant pandas and red pandas. It’s where the Kung Fu Panda 3 movie creators became inspired to portray an entire village of the adorable black and white creatures.

It is best to go early in the morning to see the pandas feeding at around 9:30am, as they are most active at this time of day.

Besides the scenery of Mt. Qingcheng, the Kung Fu Panda franchise has incorporated many elements of Chengdu, like dandan noodles (local Sichuan noodles), juicy pork steamed buns (xiaolongbao), and vendor stalls on the Wide and Narrow Alleys and Jinli Old Street.

[Secret Panda Village]
The design of the panda village was inspired by Sichuan, a region in the west of China. The filmmakers did a 10-day trip to the venue to observe real-life pandas. Besides Sichuan, Mount Qingcheng, which was covered in mist with beautiful rustic architecture, provided big inspiration for the village.
