Can I get a Yeah I'm hot!! I loved this article and video. It is perfect. everyone should feel comfortable at the gym, running outside, playing any sport, etc. It doesn't matter as long as you feel accomplished after.
Isn't that the whole point? Are you trying to change your habits for someone at the gym? NO! You are there for you. Focus on you and get the most you can while you are there!

Sincere apologies for the MIA posts. Here are a couple goodies for you. (healthy, and not so healthy but completely delicious!)

1 12.8-ounce box Rice Chex cereal
1 12-ponce box Golden Grahams cereal
1 7-ounce bag shredded coconut
1 4-ounce bag slivered almonds
1 1/2 cups butter (3...yes 3...sticks of butter)
2 cups sugar
2 cups corn syrup

Combine Rice Chex and Golden Grahams, coconut and almonds in a large mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
In a large sauce pan, cook butter, sugar and corn syrup to the "soft ball" stage...about 234 degrees on a candy thermometer. Pour over cereal mixture and stir until all is well coated. Pour mixture out onto 2 large cookie sheets to cool. Stir it around occasionally to prevent clumping. Store in an airtight container.

TGIF!!
Here is one of my top breakfasts. It may sounds weird but I promise it is so YUMMY! Give it a shot..
Breakfast- Cinnamon Cottage Cheese
1 cup full-fat cottage cheese (which I believe is 4% milkfat)
1 banana, sliced
2 tbsp. natural peanut butter or almond butter (unsalted & unsweetened)
2 tbsp. local honey
1 tbsp cinnamon (adust to your taste level. I LOVE cinnamon so I tend to add a little more).

We are celebrating LIFE in the GWA corner of the universe today.
Enjoy!
Healthy apple crisps

Ingredients:

For the apple mixture:

1 T cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg 5 medium apples, (granny smith apples or other tart apples work best)
Optional: 1 Tbsp of honey

For the crumble:

1 cup old fashioned gluten-free oats 1/2 cup almond flour 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tsp salt 2-4 Tbsp honey (depending on how sweet you want it—stevia will work too) 2-3 Tbsp almond milk 2 Tbsp coconut oil, melted

The cool thing about this recipe is that you can experiment to your heart’s content—add some dried or fresh fruit, chopped almonds or walnuts, raisins, coconut flakes, or whatever else if you want!

Directions:

Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Peel and core the apples then cut them into thin slices. Put the apples into an 8 x 8 baking dish, then toss with the cinnamon and nutmeg. Make sure all the apples are coated and there are no dry bits of spice anywhere. Add honey

Set the apples aside, and in a medium bowl, combine the oats, almond flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Add the melted coconut oil, honey, and almond milk, and stir until everything is completely coated. The mixture should be slightly sticky but not liquidy at all. If it looks a little too liquidy, just add a little almond flour or oats to soak up the moisture. If it’s too dry, just add some more honey or almond milk. The key here is to make sure the entire mixture is coated so it can all bake together.

Once the crumble is ready, sprinkle it over the apples. You can toss it around a bit or just leave on top—it’s completely up to you.

Place it into the oven and cook for 40 minutes, or until the top looks browned and crispy.
