Ending a marriage is more difficult than I expected ... probably due to not expecting it at all. And I had lost that passionate intensity I would experience when out with my camera. There was a bit of a flatline when it came to photography, as I worked out where to live, how to live, what I really wanted ... All that 'I' stuff :-) Then 2 days ago, my lovely friend Kim, who has repeatedly dusted me off during this first month out in the world alone, stopped at this church out in Surrey. All that familiar bubbling passion and joy rose up inside of me as I took out my camera and I could have spent hours there, working with my camera. Here's one of the images from that day when feeling returned to this photographer's soul. Dates for 2016 workshops in Italy will be up on my website, and all over this, by the end of November. I'm finding my way ...
My lovely friend, Kim, took me out to lunch today and we ended up in a pretty little village called Godalming. Have I already mentioned that the charity shops in England blow my mind? Books, really good secondhand books, start at .50p and don't go higher than 2 pounds. And they're all in English.…
