Nestled between the white sand that draws the pristine beaches of the Caribbean Sea and the lush rainforest lies the enigmatic Mayan city of Tulum, the only one built by the sea. It is located on the Yucatan Peninsula in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico's southeast, on the northern border of the Biosphere Reserve of Sian Ka'an. and the archaeological site.
