This week, the Colgrove family took their first international vacation together to Mexico.

The weather was less than stellar with a tropical depression making it’s way through which ruined some pre set plans we had made. But, that didn’t ruin the day because the partnership we use in Mexico for private tours saved the day. The pivoted from an ocean experience (the water was too rough) to cenotes and seeing the Mayan ruins.

The entire day could have been a bust, but their guide Paco, saved the day and it ended up being better than they could’ve imagined.

Last month, the Olsen family spent a week exploring the island of Oahu. This trip was months in the making, full of planning and excitement!

takes us to Ireland 🇮🇪

Last month, Kittie and Charles spent 10 days adventuring through Ireland. Starting in Dublin, they experienced a walking tour, the Temple Bar, and amazing restaurants.

They spend the couple of days in Galway where their room was upgraded, they explored a lot of pubs that featured live music, and excellent restaurants. Cliffs of Mohar are a must!

Then off to stay at Dromoland Castle and Ennis.

Kittie is already thinking about planning a 2025 trip back to Ireland, but we may add on Scotland and possibly Portugal to explore more amazing areas across the pond.

The newest luxury resort opened near Cancun yesterday and here are some exclusive photos!

This resort features 17 bars and restaurants, including an all night club and speakeasy. There is an adults only section and a 66,000 square feet spa.

For the kids there is a kids club, teen club, bowling alley and more.

Did you know ?! Less than two weeks ago I was experiencing the magic of swimming with this guy in the Caribbean Sea.

Sea turkey love the sea grass on the ocean floor so you’ll often find them in more shallow waters. I’ve had the great fortune of swimming with sea turtles in the Bahamas, US Virgin Islands, and Hawaii. But my Bahamian turtle friend stuck with me the longest.

Maui is set to eliminate 7,000 vacation rentals in an attempt to create affordable housing for locals.

This is another reason to use a Travel Advisor, to ensure that wherever you pay to stay is actually going to have a room for you. This is not the first island to take these steps, and it will not be the last.

In 2017 I started Those Who Wander Travel to book travel for all of the people that had the same vision of adventure that I did. The years following, we’ve created a team to cater to everyone’s travels.

Last month the Johnson family spent a week driving through the Florida Keys for spring break. Starting in Miami, they hit the Everglades National Park, spent a few relaxing days on Marathon Key, before finishing up in Key West. Here we booked a private sea plane to experience the Dry Tortugas. A unique and exciting way to experience this beautiful way to experience this National Park.

Unfortunately, not everything was sunshine and fun. At the end of their trip, American Airlines cancelled their flights home, leaving them stranded for at least 2 days. Kelli and I worked together to get them rebooked on Delta out of Miami, meaning a very long evening drive through the Keys to make the early morning flights.

Insurance claims have been filed and refunds have been requested for AA. Typically most clients do not take travel insurance for domestic trips but I am so glad we put it on the Johnson’s trip!

I always say 99% of the time you won’t use the insurance but that 1%, you’ll be so happy you had it.

Spring Break was a family affair for the Rolfsmeyer extended family. Four families started at Universal Studios and ended with a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas!

The memories these kids (and adults) made are priceless. Their only regret was not taking a longer cruise. That makes room for improvement next time!

The Tesar family recently returned from their spring break trip to Arizona! A highlight of the trip were the epic water slides the resort had for the kids….and the adults!

The key to booking vacations during high travel season is book EARLY and purchase insurance. Last minute deals don’t exist during spring break or winter break. And the flights and resorts do sell out!

Last month, Linda and Craig crashed their daughter Lexi’s work trip to the UK! They took a few days to spend exploring before Lexi was able to join them to finish out the trip.

They coveted a lot of ground in 2 weeks, exploring Dublin, London, Edinburgh, and Copenhagen. Some of the things they saw include the Guinness tour, Book of Kells, Jameson tour, Westminster Abbey, seeing Mama Mia and more. We booked a few tours for them and they filled in the rest, it was a perfect combo!
