Canada Study work permit
Dear Friend,

Hope you had a fruitful month.

In this summary letter for January 2024, I will be sharing important changes on the study route to Canada immigration. I will attempt to break it down in a way that you will understand the broader implications and separate truth from myth.

1) Proof of funds:

The living expenses requirement for Candidates applying for Visa to study in Canada was increased by a margin of over 10,000 Canadian Dollars. Hence the minimum total proof of funds for 1 year for an average tuition program in 2024 will be N27 Million (Naira). Note that if you have dependents, the total amount will be higher and will depends on the size of your family.

Average Tuition for programs in 2024 is in the range of 16,000 CAD to 18,000 CAD for 1 year. If you are able to find cheaper schools, it will reduce the burden of proof of funds. Also, if you are able to pay whole or Part of your Tuition, it will be deducted from your Proof of funds requirements.

When arranging your proof of funds, note that you are required to show proof of origin of the funds, having the required fund in your account balance is not enough.

2) Cap on Study Permit issued per province:

The Canadian Immigration has further stated that a cap will be implemented on the number of study permits that will be issued this year to each province in Canada. Note that this Cap is NOT applicable to the following:

Master’s, PhD, and K-12 students are not included in the cap.
Current study permit holders will not be affected.
Those looking to extend their studies will not be affected.

The Cap is applicable to:

Undergraduate and Diploma programs
Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate programs

Under this Scheme, provinces will be required to provide attestation letter to student Visa applicants before they can submit their Visa application. Please note that this policy has already taken effect, hence, DO NOT submit your study Visa application until your province pub

Paris Easter 2024 package

Sequel to the recent update, this is to also notify you that reservation for our Paris Easter 2024 package has commenced. This package includes entry tickets to Disneyland in Paris for kids. Adults and solo travelers are also welcome on this trip.

Travel dates: March 29th 2024 to April 4th, 2024.

Reservation is on a first come, first served basis. France Visa appointment in Abuja is now available to first time travelers to Europe but it needs to be booked months in advance.

The Package covers:
6 nights' accommodation in Paris
Paris Disneyland tickets (for families with kids only)
Paris City Tour (For All)
Eiffel Tower Tickets OR Louvre Museum tickets ( For solo travelers or Adults traveling without kids)
Breakfast daily
Schengen Travel insurance
Visa submission appointment booking
Schengen Visitor's Visa processing through France (minimum of 1 month, maximum 3 years, depending on your travel experience)

Total Package: Single Adult: N1.4millionAdult Sharing: N1.150m Child (less than 18 years): N800, 000

Rates can be adjusted for Visa fees increase and exchange rates increases.

Not Included in the package:
Flight Tickets are not included: Flight tickets can be requested after the Visa has been approved, rate will depend on airline choice and class of flight. Flight ticket rates are NOT included in the above quotes

Booking requirements for the package:
The following should be received before the booking deadline:

Data pages of the international passport of all traveling family members.

Non-refundable tour booking, travel insurance and France embassy appointment fee of N310, 000 per person.

Completed Visa information form for all adults (18 years and above). Copy of the form can be requested by responding to this advert
