Before Nicky, there was Cricket. I raised her from 5 weeks old to when she died of cancer after 14 years. She went everywhere with me and never more than a few feet away. Renee and to learn to love her before i would ask Renee to marry me. She was my little girl and was always there for me through sickness and health. When I got divorced 25 years ago all that I wanted with the divorce was Cricket. Gave my ex the house, the car and more. But I kept Cricket. She loved her two toys which was a blue racquet ball and any toilet paper empty roll. She would play with them for hours. Didn't like the other toys we bought for her. Where ever I lived at in the US she was always with me. Some of the photos in this post is when Renee and I took Cricket on a walk at Creve Couer Lake in Maryland Heights, Missouri.

Nicky was adopted on this day in December 6, 2006. This is his adoption photo taken at the Human Society. This is why he got the name Nicholas. (St. Nicholas Day)

Nicky always enjoyed his travels with us no matter where we decided to go. Even though he is no longer with us (he crossed over) we still take him with us in a special way that he taught us to travel

No matter where my parents travel to and in the past I am always with them . Michigan, Canada, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee Missouri, Illinois, Indiana there was an adventure. My lead and my toys are with them whenever they go someplace and even Mom sleeps next to one of my toys.
