Good morning everyone,
After a quite loud early evening on Provo yesterday, I would not anticipate anything of the sort today.
There is however quite a bit of dense cirrus over the islands thanks to thunderstorms over islands to the Northwest of the Turks and Caicos right now. These storms will subside with time today and could bring some rainfall into the islands through early afternoon. The chance right now stands at 40%.
Beyond today, expect scattered high clouds with occasional daily tropical showers with only a 10% chance each day through Saturday. Plenty if sun will be had with UV indexes topping 10 this week. Hot conditions thanks to Southeas lt winds of 10 to 15mph as well with highs this week of 91 to 93F. Lows in the evening will range from 79 to 82F.
Nothing stirring in the tropics for now. Keeping an eye on that as well. If you have travel plans to the islands in July through September, I would highly highly recommend travel insurance.
