A trip where I was looking to find a future as a dancing choreographer and model, brought me to discover the amazing world of photography. What it suppose to be a short stay, became almost a decade living in different cities: Seattle, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Escondido. During that time, I learned how to identify and see through the lense, all of that that sometimes, rutine and da
ily nature make it seem unnoticed. The beauty behind a gesture, the life an object can transmit, or the emotion that comes out from a simple look. My most wanted challenge to achieve is to capture all those emotions, translate them in the complete process of a photograph and deliver the results ready to be easily understood. and moved to a few other countries like Turkey, Croatia, Italy, Dubai and finally, 15 years after, Spain again (at least for now!). I believe the oportunity of living in different scenes has allowed me, not only to advance in the photography field in general, but to acquire the cultural aspects of each place. My camera, essential partner on all those trips, has became nowadays, my working tool. I have a preference for portraits, and my commitment is and will always be, to capture in every image the truthful soul that lies in each and every person I photograph. Un viaje en el que pretendía encontrar mi futuro como coreógrafa de baile y modelo, me llevó a descubrir el apasionante mundo de la fotografía. Lo que en un principio iba a tratarse de unos meses, se convirtió en casi una década viviendo en diferentes ciudades: Seattle, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco y Escondido. Durante ese tiempo, aprendí a identificar y a ver a través de un objetivo, todo aquello que a veces la rutina y la cotidianeidad hace que pase desapercibido ante nosotros. La belleza que esconde un gesto, la vida que transmite un objeto o el sentimiento que nace de una mirada. El reto más deseado de mis sesiones es captar emociones, traducirlas en el proceso completo de cada fotografía, y entregarlas preparadas para ser entendidas. Después de la aventura americana, me marché de Estados Unidos para mudarme a diferentes paises: Turquía, Croacia, Italia, Dubai y finalmente, 15 años después, España de nuevo (por ahora!). Creo que la oportunidad de vivir en otros escenarios me ha permitido, no sólo avanzar en el campo de la fotografía en general sino, adquirir los matices culturales de cada lugar. Mi cámara, imprescindible compañera en todos esos viajes, se ha convertido hoy en mi herramienta de trabajo. Mi preferencia son los retratos y mi compromiso es y será, plasmar en cada imagen el alma verdadera que reside en cada una de las personas a las que fotografío.
