Dear All,
This is to notify that the International Film Festival Of Nepal (IFFON), 2017, has been successfully concluded. 6 films, 3 films in the International Competition
section, and 3 films in the Nepal panorama have been selected by our jury for various awards. The awarded films are listed below:
INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
Gautama Buddha Award (For the best Feature length film)
==> Kalo Pothi (Black Hen) from Nepal, by Min Bdr. Bham - Awarded USD 1000 + Trophy
Mt. Everest Award (For the best documentary film)
==> Blank Page from Russia, by Aina Meredova - Awarded USD 500 + Trophy
Rara Award (For the best short film)
==> Jaadui Machchi from India, by Ektara Collective - Awarded USD 300 + Trophy
NATIONAL PANORAMA
Srijanga Award (For the best feature length film)
==> Baal Krishna Sama: The Untold Story by Dinesh Palpali - Awarded NPR 50,000 + Trophy
Ram Prasad Rai Award (For the best documentary film)
==> Ma Alap Huna Chahanchu (Into Thin Air) by Sachin Ghimire & Gaurav KC - Awarded NPR 30,000 + Trophy
Chaturman Rajbanshi Award (For the best short film)
==> Jha Lo (Year Of The Bird) by Shenang Gyamjo Tamang - Awarded NPR 20,000 + Trophy
