Let’s break down Disney Genie+! 🧞‍♂️

Disney Genie+ is a system that was implemented in 2021 (replacing the free FastPass+ system) at Walt Disney World. Purchasing Disney Genie+ allows you to reserve a time slot for a specific ride/attraction and when the time slot arrives, you scan in to the “Lightning Lane” and skip the standby queue – meaning you don’t have to wait in line for hours! 🤩

These slides show you every single ride in Walt Disney World that has “Lightning Lanes” and which attractions have “Individual Lightning Lanes” meaning you have to purchase access to these additionally. The cost of Genie+ varies per day. 💵

Do you know how the rider switch service works? ✨

This service is super helpful if you are visiting Disney World with little ones that do no meet the height requirement or if they are a little too nervous to ride.

The rides I included are on the official rider switch list. However, rider switch can most likely be used even on attractions not on the official list. Just kindly ask a cast member.

TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise officially opens April 4 at Magic Kingdom Park!

The story of TRON Lightcycle / Run picks up after “TRON: Legacy” where Kevin’s son, Sam Flynn, has opened a second gateway into a digital world called the Grid. The first portal was built at Shanghai Disneyland with the original TRON Lightcycle Power Run.

When guests enter the queue at Magic Kingdom, they’ll feel as if they've been digitized and transported to the Grid for a special Lightcycle race. It’s your Team Blue against the Grid’s menacing Programs, Team Orange. Your goal is to be the first to race through eight Energy Gates and secure victory. The attraction will be one of the fastest coasters at any Disney theme park in the world.
