Each and every trip that AlpenGlow Tours does is really a custom trip. It will be my pleasure to make your day memorable and to exceed your expectations. Primarily a photography based company, AlpenGlow Tours will get you on location and offer technical advice for capturing some amazing images. The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem is approximately 19 million acres, offering each safari almost endless
opportunities to explore the awe inspiring scenery and wildlife. While I encourage you to bring your camera, please note that my safaris can be geared to a more relaxed day of sightseeing while learning more about the areas natural history, geology and ecology. My name is Brad Schwarm; a nationally published professional nature photographer and I will be your guide for the day. After graduating with a degree in commercial photography from the Brooks Institute of Photography in 1988, I worked for the nationally renowned architectural photography firm of Hedrick-Blessing in Chicago. Realizing that big city living just wasn’t a good fit, I moved to Jackson Hole in 1989. Here I have found a home and a location equal to my passion for photography. My work has been featured in Life, Outside, and Sports Illustrated magazines, to name but a few. The advances in digital photography and post production have been amazing over the course of my 30 years shooting experience. However, a great photograph still begins with great light. Typically, AlpenGlow tours will start early in the morning and continue past dusk in order to capitalize on these inspiring moments. The abundant wildlife of the area are also most active during these hours, offering great viewing and photo opportunities. As we travel to different locations, workflow and post production techniques will be discussed as well as the history and geology of the parks. Please visit the Tours menu of the site for more details on each trip.
