On the occasion of Youm-e-Ali, a special traffic plan for Rawalpindi will be enforced on the night of 21st and 22nd March. Key roads such as Moti Bazaar, Liaquat Road, City Saddar Road, and others, including Fawara Chowk, School Road, and Iqbal Road, will be closed for public safety and procession control. However, staff can take alternate routes including Kashmir Bazar, Gawalmandi Road, Perwaz Road, Novelty Cinema Road, Barra Market, and Azeem Plaza.

Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan has announced to hold “Labbaik Ya Aqsa March” across the country on Friday, March 21st between 2-5 PM, against the atrocities on Palestinians.
In Islamabad, road diversions will be as follows:
Constitution Avenue: Closed from D-Chowk towards the Prime Minister’s Secretariat (one side) due to the Army Parade.
Suharwardi Road: Closed from Ataturk Avenue towards Aabpara in both directions, secured with containers.
Masjid Road & GPO Road: Closed from Shaheed-e-Millat Road towards G-6/1 and G-6/2.

A student organization is planning to hold a protest at the F-6 Islamabad Press Club on International Women's Day. The Serena Hotel's side entrance will be closed for Red Zone access, though the exit route will remain open. According to the police, security personnel have already been deployed to the area. However, the exact timing of the protest has not yet been confirmed.

Islamabad Traffic Police has issued a traffic route plan in preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy match between New Zealand and Bangladesh, scheduled to take place today at Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. According to the traffic plan, Murree Road will be closed from Stadium Road to Faizabad during team arrivals and departures (12:00 PM-1:00 PM, 6:00 PM-6:30 PM, and 9:30 PM-10:30 PM). Additionally, Stadium Road will be closed to all traffic while routes will be in placed from 12 PM to 2 PM, 4 PM to 6 PM, and 9 PM to 11 PM on Srinagar Highway, Club Road, and Express Highway. Traffic congestion is expected during these periods.

The Utility Stores Corporation Employees Union has announced nationwide protests today in front of Press Clubs against the recent dismissal of daily-wage employees.
In Islamabad, a major protest rally is planned at 2 PM from the Utility Stores Head Office, Blue Area till Islamabad Press Club in F-6.

Note: FATA Lane is still closed with containers, leaving no way even for pedestrians.

Due to the prevailing law and order situation, *the entry and exit points to the Red Zone, including Serena, Convention Centre, NADRA, Marriott, Express Chowk, and T-Cross Bari Imam, are temporarily closed except Margalla Road.*

The Serena Hotel and SBC are accessible through;

1. Globe Chowk.

2. Via link road from Radio Pakistan > Islamabad High Court Parking > National Bank > Continue onward to Serena Gate-6.

Recommendation: Staff are advised to use Margalla Road and plan travel accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
