Wrapping up our 'Monthly Hike Bike Shoutout' for the year! We have to mention one of our favorite rail-to-trails! The Elroy Sparta Trail!

Considered the first rail-to-trail in the United States, the Elroy-Sparta State Trail remains one of the most popular trails in the country. With three rock tunnels and five small towns along its 32.5-mile route, the trail is a favorite Wisconsin bicycling destination. Traveling between Sparta and Elroy, the trail stretches through the communities of Norwalk, Wilton and Kendall, passing by wetlands, prairies, farmland and unglaciated areas.

JUST ANNOUNCED: Sixth Annual Ketchum's 'Got Your Six' Bike Ride! Happening this Saturday September 17 at 8am at Elroy Commons in Elroy, WI. Registration at 7:30am. It is a 22 mile ride from Elroy to Reedsburg. Riders can join at any point along the trail but a State Trail Pass is Required. More information at: https://www.ketchumsgotyoursix.com/

Our next 'Monthly Hike Bike Shoutout' goes to Dairyland Dare in Dodgeville, WI on Saturday August 6, 2022!

Set in southwest Wisconsin, the land left untouched by glacial flattening during the last ice age, the Dairyland Dare offers some of the most extreme hills in the Midwest. The area is characterized by steep, forested ridges and deeply carved river valleys.

Pick from 4 one day challenges: 50K, 100K, 150K, or 200K. We welcome road and tri-bikes alike.E-bikes are welcome as well, but must follow timeline

Our next 'Monthly Hike Bike Shoutout' goes to Fitchburg Festival of Speed in Fitchburg, WI on Saturday July 9, 2022!

The Fitchburg Festival of Speed has a little something for everyone including biking, running, live music, food, beer and fireworks. Everyone is welcome in the morning for the Fitchburg Family Pharmacy 25 Mile Bike Ride or participate in the Andy Nelesen Donor Dash 5K Run/Walk. Throughout the day there will be beer and food for purchase with all of the racing fun culminating in a fireworks show for all to enjoy. Don’t miss great racing action and family fun!

Our next 'Monthly Hike Bike Shoutout' goes to Rob's Sugar River Ramble in Mt. Horeb, WI on Sunday June 5, 2022!

Connect with the Upper Sugar River Watershed by land and water as you cycle through the beautiful countryside beginning in Mt. Horeb, WI, then paddle the sparkling Sugar River until you reach your destination near Paoli, WI. After the event, get transported back to Mount Horeb with your fellow participants for a locally-sourced feast, beer tasting, raffle, and live music from 11 am – 2 pm.

Our next 'Monthly Hike Bike Shoutout' goes to the 18th Annual Ride to Farm in New Glarus, WI on June 4, 2022.

Ride to Farm is a bicycle ride to raise awareness and funds for the Wisconsin School for Beginning Dairy and Livestock Farmers (WSBDF) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The school’s mission is “If you have a dream to farm, we’re here to help you get started.”

Our next 'Monthly Hike Bike Shoutout' goes to The La Crosse Omnium happening May 6-8th!

The 3-day La Crosse Omnium is back for another year! A 2.4 mile time trial up the historic Grandad’s Bluff kicks things off Friday evening. Saturday is a rolling road race on the scenic back roads of Vernon County. And finally, the Sunday criterium returns, seeing riders speed along the Mississippi River and now riding underneath the La Crosse Center. Great fun for the whole family, with a kid’s race on Sunday.
