Inside Joke Theatre We are two actors working together to make new & engaging theatre.

Troy Orchard & Stephen Voake met studying theatre and began writing and performing their own material, with the goal of creating work that can engage an audience and leave an impression. With art becoming more accesible and artists keen to make their voices heard, Inside Joke Theatre are working to provide audiences with a viewing experience that lasts. Drawing inspiration from hundreds of sources

to create both original work, and lending our own unique performance style to adaptations of great surrealist works and contemporary plays. We see inspiration everywhere, and we'er confident you will enjoy what we have to offer

Enormous thanks to everyone involved in this incredible project, especially Nick, Chloe & everyone at Bristol Old Vic for inviting us to be part of it, and to the National Theatre for organising and developing such an outstanding idea to commemorate & pay tribute to all 60,000 of the casualties on July 1st, 1916. Never forget.

The format of the page will be changing soon & we'll be adding new material to the page in the coming months.

Basically we've decided that to keep ourselves busy in between writing material we'll be uploading some video blog type stuff of us reviewing films, TV, music, and everything in between. It's an idea in the baby stages and it'll be a work in progress for a little bit but will hopefully become something regular here on the page. Watch this space.

It's roughly 5 years since we first met as classmates at Filton WISE, its been a terrific journey, as two friends we have built a love of performance and as friends we'll be lighting a giant bonfire and praying to Mum-Ra from Thundercats to mark the occasion.
