Veteran character actor and quintessential "that guy" Dick Miller has died today at the age of 90. The news was first reported by Variety.

Been a long time since we've posted here due to an injury and physical therapy but now we're back. Have had a idea rattling around my head for months but haven't been able to figure out how to best develop it on paper till the other day and now I have the insight I needed to do this story justice.... not as proficient at writing as I wish I was but working on it.

Haven't been posting much on here lately because work has been insane and been traveling back and forth across the country several times but the end is insight and the tour finally ends on the 29th and then I can get back to work on the projects we have on the table.

Final day of filming at Slot Shots Raceway is over, hugely successful shoot !!! Can't wait to start the editing process. I want to thank all the drivers for helping us to capture some really great racing footage (on both the Tri-Oval and the Drag strip). Made a modification to our lo-buck dolly to accommodate the shots we wanted for the drag strip and they turned out even better then we had anticipated. Stay tuned in the weeks that follow to see the finished product.

In the process of designing a permanent logo and would like input from all of you on the designs and of course if you have any ideas don't hesitate to post them. Really excited about a couple of new smaller projects that will provide a short break from the current project, sometimes when you feel like you have hit a wall the best thing that can happen is to step away and focus on another project and then return with a fresh set of eyes to the original project. We are also considering producing a weekly or monthly podcast about films we like or dislike but mostly cut up and joke around.

Designing phase of the new shoulder rig is almost complete and I've got to say this is going to be one smooth design. Next up we are designing our Door Jam Dolly and making it collapse down to the point you can store the whole thing in a large Rubbermaid tub for easy storage and transportation.

Have developed some really great ideas for Zombie film, now just got to figure how to pull them off as a practical effect. CG is a great tool but shooting everything " in camera " is an art form.

Great night of open wheel racing last night and our first race providing in-car video for BT Motorsports and driver Bryce Dunn.We will be posting video as soon as editing is complete but as you can see from this picture we totally nailed the camera angle.

Had a lot of fun today, went to lunch with a couple of the members of my "crew" (at least I'm hoping ya'll will be part of the crew) and we discussed some really amazing ideas for the movie and of course we had to discuss our theories about the upcoming season finale of The Walking Dead.

The end of the Racing season is drawing near and then we can jump on filming. Got a lot of ideas and some great advice from other film makers who have established themselves in Independent film, to them I would like to say Thank You for the wise words and encouragement to take the leap. I look forward to the day when I can pay it forward to another film maker who is just starting out.

LoL, just realized that the last post made it sound like I was leaving racing, that is not the case. Film production is going to be an off season venture....unless we become an over night success LOL, but honestly how often does that happen ?

After 23 years working in NASCAR's top tier of racing I realized that I'm not getting any younger and I want to fulfill my other dream of being a film maker, so at 44 I know it's late in the game to change horses mid stream but that is exactly what I am doing. Cause as my grandmother used to say " the only regrets in life are the chances you don't that." So I am proud to say that this is going to be a family and friends venture and we are gonna have a lot of fun along the way. So stay tuned for updates and follow us through the whole process of getting this off the ground.
