Strictly must be the most phoney show that the BBC has ever broadcast. Over enthusiastic and unjustified applause, false emotions, marking that has no relation to performance. These judges, who are highly professional in their art form are treating this as if it was the US Open when the standard is closer to the monthly medal at your local golf club. Sadly, it about personalities - the dumbing down of achievement. It’s as fixed as professional wrestling. Behind the scenes, things are very different with all sorts of nasty things going on. No wonder I prefer football - genuine.
