The Yoga Farm is a rustic yoga center and sustainable living project located on Costa Rica's southernmost Pacific coast.

Set amidst beautiful tropical rainforest, and overlooking open ocean, we are ideally located for those looking to reconnect with mind, body, and nature. Seven months out of the year, the Yoga Farm is a functioning community of diverse people - living, working, and playing in a beautiful corner of the world. Our particular region of Costa Rica is regarded as one of the most biologically diverse pla

ces in the world and guests can expect to see an abundance of wildlife during their stay. We provide everyone who stays with us simple, comfortable accommodations, daily guided yoga classes with resident instructors, and three healthy, primarily vegetarian meals each day. We invite you to stay with us anywhere from a few days to a few months and enjoy the Pura Vida!

Well the first Jungle Residency of the year is off to a beautiful start, with a lovely laid back crew getting into the swing of things. It is always so rewarding to share our lovely little slice of paradise with others.
Nourishing farm to table meals, empty beaches, dreamy yoga with a jungle infused soundbath, coconut milk workshops, surf missions, being immersed in nature and a whole lot of yoga farm love … and it’s only day 2! Looking forward to the next few weeks and what adventures will unfold.

With everything that is going on in the world right now, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, stressed, anxious… even hopeless. But there is hope… there is always love.

We are just mammals walking this earth. Our existence as a species is a mere blink of an eye in the overall scheme of the universe.

We are on the brink of change for the better as humans.. How do we make a difference? Smile, bring a little joy to others, help an old lady cross the road. Keep being you and spreading your light and love… Remember we are a biological part of the beautiful tapestry of nature.. Immerse yourself in it… Lie under a tree, feel the earth beneath your feet… Bring yourself back to your basic roots.
Things may feel bleak at times, but stay positive. The night is always darkest before the dawn! Let us all pull together and advocate for peace, love and unity on this planet… Love to you all from the yoga farm and all its furry, not so furry and feathered friends as pictured :-)

The yoga farm yoga deck… floating above the jungle canopy, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. 🌊

It’s not uncommon to see whales and dolphins from this platform during a yoga class… and sloths and monkeys and even the occasional Jaguarundi… 🐈‍⬛

Surf n turf! On an average day at the yoga farm you will be surrounded by abundance. Tropical animals, fruit trees, life changing sunsets, nutritious plants and plenty of vitamin sea!!!! Why not come and join us next year for a jungle residency!

Hola! Fun stuff is planned! One more week of Ellis spreading her gentle wisdom through her yoga classes at the Yoga Farm.

Two specials! On Thursday will be teaching at Rancho Burica. A community yoga class, donation based, proceeds go to tht Turtle Conservation project. Followed by a bonfire! Join us for good chats, a poetry workshop held by Yoga Farmer Laura and bring something yummy to snack on!

And on Sunday 7pm Ellis will facilitate a full moon circle.

Yoga classes this week!

Ellis will teach different hatha vinyasa flows, focussed on reconnecting to ourselves and nature.

Walk with two legs up the hill or park your 4x4 vehicle at 50 meters passed the Yoga Farm gate! Bring a smile, and $10 donation for Ellis!

Thursday is a fully donation based community yoga class and will be taught at our friends yoga shala

All donations go to the local run turtle conservation project!

Rio time! The Quebrada Punta Banco is the main river running from the Yoga Farm through the mountains down into Punta Banco. We love to walk the river down to the beach. Takes a lot longer than the road but the scenery sure is worth it!

Come out and support our community- run sea turtle conservation project, at the Punta Banco Turtle Festival this Sunday! There will be games, food, kids yoga, art projects, a foot race, live music, and lots more! This event is always such a fun and heartwarming one. All proceeds go to to help continue the nest relocation and turtle hatchery program. Activities begin at 9 on the soccer field. See you there!

Jesus 🧡 Thanks Pamela for shooting this great pic of Jesus! Two times a week he, one of his horses and a Yoga Farmer go down the hill to load up saccos full of veggies and brings them up the hill! Thats how we do groceries out here!

A table full of banana-leaf wrapped gifts for ‘Dirty Santa’. All gifts were either pre-owned (out of our backpacks) or self made (yes one yogafarmer made an Imperial christmas ornament).

Thank you Christmas chefs, decorating team, cookie managers, and laugh makers! What a special time to share at The Yoga Farm.
