“If you're visiting Lanzarote, you have to check out La Geria vineyards! These unique vineyards are located in a volcanic landscape, where the vines are planted in holes and pits dug out of the black ash. The farmers use a traditional cultivation method called "enarenados" to protect the vines from the harsh winds and conserve moisture in the soil. The result? Beautifully crafted wines that taste like nowhere else on earth. You can even take a tour of the vineyards and learn about the unique cultivation methods used by the farmers.”

“On Friday, the sun put on a spectacular show, a massive “tornado” of plasma about 14 Earths tall. I took the opportunity to capture around 200,000 photos, about 90k of which were used to create this composite photo. I tapped Jason [Guenzel] to help me process the data, and together we gave it the clearest, sharpest look either of us has ever done for the full disc.
The solar Corona is actually invisible optically against the glare of the sun, so to get a scientifically plausible look at it, we used NASA’s SOHO data as a reference to geometrically transform Jason’s 2017 eclipse photo to match the features. The result is a blend of science and art, and my favorite piece of work I’ve been a part of.”

These images broke us this morning and we've been contemplating if we should post them or not but ultimately decided to post it for three reasons. These images are of a Turkish man, Mesut, holding the hand of his 15-year old-daughter, Irmak Leyla, who was crushed by the building after the earthquake struck. He sat with her all night throughout the cold, knowing she had passed away.
This gives us another opportunity to remind you to help as much as you can. Maybe your form of helping is spreading awareness or maybe it's donating to the cause. Whatever it is, it's part of the larger good and this is a collective effort. If you are donating, do your research on the charity and see how they spend their finances (Tax forms and audits should be on their websites).
As we continue to see disparity, chaos, and grief, all around the world, remember to be grateful. Practice sitting down and count every blessing you have. From your eyesight that lets you read this post to the mind that can facilitate and understand every word. Remind yourself of all that you have been blessed with. We're always so stuck up on things we don't have, what we wish our lives can be. Gratitude is one of the keys to happiness and acknowledging all the good in our lives is the foundation for abundance.
Tell your loved ones you love them as often as you can. Do not wait til tomorrow to let them know how much they mean to you.
Rescue and relief efforts are continuing in full force.
Our prayers are with the people of Turkey and Syria!
🕊️ Share this post and let’s reach more people to help.

In the early hours of Monday morning, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck southern Turkey and northern Syria.
So far, more than a thousand people are confirmed to have died. This figure is expected to rise sharply.
Here is how you can help support those affected.

“Meet the master of seasonal disguise! 🦊✨ This brown Arctic fox is not just a winter wonder, it’s a year-round survivor. Did you know that Arctic foxes change their fur color with the seasons for perfect camouflage? From a snowy white in winter to a brown or gray coat in summer, they always blend in seamlessly with their environment.” Video&Caption by @listpull

“The land of Fire and Ice. Looking down on the incredibly fast moving lava flow from the mornings eruption in Iceland. I came out here earlier this week after data showed an eruption could be on the way, but after days of waiting, and with one day left before I have to head to Norway, nature put on her show.” Video&Caption by @mikemezphoto #earthofficial

“Alaska is full of surprises! Ermine or “short-tailed weasels” are known to take down impressive prey as large as snowshoe hares, but they are also incredibly opportunistic. These ermine on Kodiak Island and other coastal environments get their paws wet by fishing the tide pools!” Video&Caption by @sergiushannan_photography

During the warm summer season, pregnant female sea turtles make their way back to the shores where they were born years ago. They navigate through the tumultuous waves and make their way onto the beach, seeking out a suitable spot above the tide line to nest. With her rear flippers, the reptile excavates a hollow in the sandy shore. This process of nest building and egg laying typically spans one to three hours, followed by the gradual return of the mother turtle to the ocean. 🎥 @aeroture_aus 📍Australia 🇦🇺
