We had a rainy day, but managed to squeeze 8 rounds in. One pilot also fell into water (bad caller)😁. This was our first record of losing a pilot while the plane was still flying.

League 2024 #5 is ready to go!
We have 15 pilots. Welcome our friends Sherwin Choo and Tan Vincent to our new battlefield😘

We will fly 8 rounds with no dropped rounds.

After the first 5 rounds, two classes of pilots will be identified. The first 8 pilots will be in expert class while the lower 7 pilots will be in sportsman class. The contest will continue without a fly-off. And all 8-round scores will determine prizes in each class.

This is a great flying site for all R/C aircrafts and Paramotors.
The site is a reservoir bed. So, it is accessible only from late summer to mid rainy season. We will have an F3K event here on the 21st of July.

We had a very calm day with moderate sunshine. Thermal was at times difficult to find. Delicate flying was of real advantage for this match.

We had a scorching super-summer day. The planned 9-task day ended when CD called out "WTF! lets call it the day before we are fully cooked!" And we all were happy with 7 rounds.

F3K Thailand Open 2023 has concluded!
We had 34 strong pilots friendly battled on the challenging Sky Airfield. Hot, humid, and forever changing weather asked for the best of each pilots. 6 preliminary rounds through and we had upper 12 pilots going to the Expert class flyoff, next 11 pilots going to the 2nd-expert class flyoff, and the last 11 going to the Sportsman class flyoff. Everybody was in a flyoff! The next 7 rounds of flyoff (9 were planned but 2 were dropped conspicuously by CD) saw both fierce battle and hilarious hiccups like one plane bind-piercing another in a thermal and balleting down to inferno. Only true topguns can do that! Most pilots slept on field and socialized. And no matter what the contest results were, everyone came out smiling!

**F3K Thailand Open 2023**

Important information in this bulletin:

4) Tie-breaker rules (there will be no tie-break fly-off)
5) 3-person team registration (just find your buddies and inform the CD as soon as possible)
6) International pilots are provided accidental insurance during the event at no extra cost. If you are registered pilots and want this coverage, submit your passport photocopy to CD now! (Inbox please. Don't post your passports here)

Announcing F3K Thailand Open 2023. This year contest will be held 4th-5th November, 2023 at The Sky Airfield in Petchaburi province (211 km from BKK airport). Pilots are encouraged to participate 3rd-5th. Ideally, international pilots should fly in on the 2nd and depart no earlier than the 6th. Please see detailed schedule in the bulletin.

Registration fee is 4300THB inclusive of room and board throughout the contest period. On-field boarding is mandatory for international pilots and must be double-occupancy only. Due to limited availability (only 20 seats for international pilots) please consult page administration for registration before your flight booking.

The contest T-shirts are included for registered pilots and can be ordered separately + Shipping

Announcing 1st competition of F3K Thailand League 2023 series on 20th May 2023 at the Eastern Airfield, Sriracha

F3K Thailand League 2023 consists of 5-6 competitions ending with Thailand Open in November. Series trophy will be presented to the series winner at the year end.

This Saturday contest starts at 9.00am
We will fly 9 rounds with 1 dropped round. There are 14 pilots joining, 4 of which from our brother land Singapore. May the best-looking guy win! 😍
