Adventure Afterschool Open House!
January 28th 5:30-7:00

We've been working feverishly on our new Adventure Afterschool headquarters. We still have a lot of work to do but we are just about ready to show it off!

Interested in our new Adventure Afterschool program or you've already signed up? Come check out our new afterschool space, let your kids climb on the climbing wall and ninja line, meet the counselors, and learn about our new program!

Stay 5 minutes or the whole time but have some tacos while you're here. Islands Taco Bar will be served!

Registration for returning campers begins in 3 days!

Returning families will get their registration email at 8am on Monday! Make sure to keep an eye on your spam folder.

Waitlist families from last year will get their email on Monday January 27th at 8am and the registration links will show up on our website at 8am on February 3rd.

Spots move quickly so you should, too!

Fishing, swimming, tubing, island days, ropes courses, crabbing, kayaking, marsh exploration, and more! We've been sending home tired and salty kids everyday since 2015!

Jan 13- Registration emails sent to returning families
Jan 27- Registration emails sent to waitlist families from last year
Feb 3- Registration links show up on our website

If you were part of one of our "tropical storm" groups from last year (and you chose credit and early registration), you've already gotten your registration emails!

7 DAYS! Summer Camp registration opens NEXT Monday the 13th for our returning camper families!

Waitlist families will then get their shot starting on January 20th, and then the portal opens on Feb. 3rd for the public.

You need to move fast, because we are usually 65-70% sold out when it opens to the public and it's usually sold out in just a few days!

Our booking system is open for reservations, with dates starting as early as March! Get a kayak excursion, boat day, or island day on the books and the countdown begins!

Worried about the weather that far out? We never go if we can't have a good time, and we can always get you rescheduled or we refund your deposit.

We are proud to announce our Adventure Afterschool Program at Cape Fear Adventure Company!

Our Adventure Based, Skill Focused afterschool program is designed to get your child outside year round while providing YOU with the safe, enriching childcare that you need.

Here are the highlights:
-Grades 1-5
-Van pick up from 6 area elementary schools
-Fun, skill based, "off campus" outdoor activities at least one day per week
-Conveniently located home base, with a climbing wall, in Monkey Junction
-Homework help and FREE tutoring available from a veteran, AIG certified teacher

This program starts on February 3rd as a soft opening, with a few weeks of reduced capacity. We will open at full capacity on March 3rd!

We couldn't agree more! Some of the most amazing adventures can happen after you get off work for the day!

Lately, I’ve noticed a pernicious gap between the trips I imagine going on—the big, ambitious ones—and the ones I have the time and resources to actually do.
