There are rumors of a complimentary shuttle to the port 🤞🤞🤞.
I was not only impressed with the views of the port from the large pool area, but also with the studio, one, and two-bedroom units, most with balconies and many offering kitchenettes or full kitchens. The spa will feature my personal favorite, a hammam, and in addition to several new restaurants coming opening on the property, they managed to add a speakeasy. Bonus!

We splurged. It was worth it. Twelve course tasting menu. France & Japan. Inspired by Daishi made from the pure stream waters of Kyoto. The restaurant is only two years old and very close to a Michelin star. Our entire trip to Japan we happily ate the best street food and local restaurant food in the world, but I am happy we did this, too.
We are working long days at Kormarine 2023 in South Korea, but making time for a walk in this beautiful area next to our hotel every morning.
One full day in Tokyo. Tokyo is incredibly easy to navigate and you can find fun around every corner. This city tops my solo traveler list for women.
This trip to Tokyo🗼was not planned like my regular travels. I only have about a day and a half on the ground. I didn’t have time for research. I arrived at the 🌆 in the early evening. The first thing I do in a new location is walk🚶🏻♀️as much as I can with no clear destination. I watch 👀 where the locals go. I found 🎯 the best sushi of my life 🍱🍣. Absolutely no one spoke English. Clearly a locals only place on this Saturday evening 🌙. The chefs couldn’t have been nicer. Plate after 🍽️ of divine sushi was served. I’m really tempted to go back again tonight 🤔.
With only one day in Tokyo and a passion for walking and trains, small beautiful places, local shops and neighborhoods, and not enough time or desire for tourist sites, where would you go?

We had a two night stay last weekend at this contemporary and modern Marriott property near Disney. I love that we had complimentary transport service to all the parks. The girls were fully independent, but not too old to enjoy their loft bedroom in our family suite. Dinner was at Illume, the sushi restaurant on the rooftop with a great view of the fireworks each night at 9p. This was the best choice we could have made for our teenagers. I add perks with my Marriott and Ritz bookings for all my clients.

A 5.6 kilometer hike up to the Plain of Six Glaciers during a chilling light rain, was worth the payoff. The propane operated, electricity free, treehouse serves an extensive tea list, a locals favorite Arlo Barlo coffee made with chocolate, soup, chili with bread, a few kinds of sandwiches, and all the cakes and cookies to fill you back up for the long trek down the mountain. A small respite from the cold for the hungry hikers lucky enough to find this magical place in the mountains. Opened in 1927 in the Canadian Rockies the same family has operated it as an act of love for nature since 1959. These are more of these special places I can tell you about on a journey.
My first stay at this property in Asheville, and I didn’t want to leave. You practically had to pull me out of here. Completely Henry 🐶 approved 🐾. Probably the nicest property I’ve stayed in that was dog friendly, too. What a nice change of pace to stay in Biltmore Village instead of my usual, downtown Asheville.
The staff was very friendly and greeted us with champagne. We had a large room with a beautiful and much-needed bathtub after our five days of hiking. The outside terrace was lovely. One could spend a full day just appreciating their expansive art collection.
This property felt luxurious and had a bit of classic glamour. It made me feel fancy, yet comfortable and at home. So much at home that I ran into friends at Red Stag Grill. The elk was recommended to us and it was superb.
