Vacations are Medicinal!

When you explore the freedom to joyously create whatever life you want, taking a vacation gives you practice in the very skills you need. Vacations are opportunities to completely get out of your routine. They offer you a different view on life by taking you someplace else and doing things that are completely different from what you normally do every day. This breaks up places where you may be stuck in your thinking and doing.

When you come back from vacation, you are better equipped to see and engage your everyday life in the same way you engaged during your vacation.

This is a beautiful mountain home. Great location is close to Flathead Lake, Kalispell, Whitefish and Glacier National Park. Plenty to do at the property for all ages. Host communication was excellent. Highly recommend!

Family Vacation
It was a spectacular, peaceful retreat for our family vacation. The property was remote enough to bask in the forest and feel like no one was around. There's a giant Osprey nest close so we had entertainment any also saw Deer and Turkeys. There's a fully stocked kitchen, barbecue and lots of great suggestions for activities. We really enjoyed ourselves and can't recommend it more.....

Through this sacred connection to Glacier National Park, the Glacier Conservancy has devoted their efforts to building lasting relationships and preserving the traditions, language, and land of the Blackfeet, Salish, Pend d’Oreille and Kootenai peoples.

Mystic Mountain is MAGICAL!!
The moment we pulled up to Mystic Mountain, we knew our group (7 adults) had chosen the right spot! First, the house was clean and comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prep meals. The back porch was our favorite spot to hang out. The views are INCREDIBLE. Our neighbors were a nest of Osprey parents and their babies. We also were visited by many deer and turkeys, but the highlight was the chubby black bear who dashed down the bank of the lake, splashed into the water and swam to the other side. The guys witnessed first hand while down on the dock fishing and canoeing.
The guys also enjoyed the pool table and wished they had more time for the ping pong table. I enjoyed the painting rocks station! Fun and Creative! Kalli was amazing to work with. She has thought of EVERYTHING to make her guest feel welcome.
Beautiful fire pit out front - although we did not have time to use it (kind of hot in July). If you are on the fence about this property, jump off and book! Loved exploring Big Fork (cute little bakery - Lake Baked -with yummy cinnamon rolls, scones, coffee, quiches.....) , Whitefish& White Fish Mnt. Resort- gondola/hiking, Flat Head Lake - rented a pontoon boat, and of course the star of the trip Glacier National Park E&W. This house is centrally located, so that you can go places easily. But then you get to come home to rest, relax, and enjoy the view after long days of hiking.

Mystic Mountain is Magnificent!
This was a great home to stay in. Kalli was a fantastic host, the home and property were outstanding and so well maintained! The view is out of this world! It was a great base for allowing us to explore the Big Fork and Glacier National Park Area.

Our experience at Mystic Mountain was tremendous, and I attribute that to the work that Kalli puts in making this a great place to stay and explore, including coolers, amenities to make your outdoor experience great, including canoes, games, recreational activities (pool, ping pong, etc). The best part is enjoying the back deck, looking at the mountains while you enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening dinner after a great day in the park. You will be very hard pressed to find a nicer VRBO and a better host than Kalli. We had a great trip. Thank you.

Great local place to check out! Nice venue for a glass a wine by the river in the late afternoon.

Good Morning! We are open with a full case of rolls. Tell the folks blocking the roads that you’re coming to Lake Baked for a coffee and roll, we’ll have you in and out before the crowd arrives. 💃🏻🥳🥰

We’ll have scones, rolls, cookies and quiche, and COLD BREW, HUCKLEBERRY LEMONADE, and BLOODY MARY’s until we sell out. We’re a great place to hide while parade goes on with baked goods, bar, and hamburgers and more on the grill. Don’t worry, we bought more this year! We’re here to feed your soul and your BELLY!

We booked a year in advance and had great anticipation for our family vacation. This property was everything we hoped and more. Pictures do not do it justice. Oh, that view!! Bigfork, Kalispell and Glacier National Park are all in decent driving distance. This was my first but will not be my last trip to Montana and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Kalli again.

Gorgeous home and views!
Our extended family had a wonderful stay during our visit to the Glacier NP area. The home was furnished beautifully with great themed rooms and an eye for anything one might need while vacationing in Montana. The view from the back patio was gorgeous and felt like were in a national park (minus the crowds) while eating meals or relaxing there. There is also an active osprey nest near the patio which was fascinating to observe. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area!

New shuttle service in Bigfork "Fund the Fork"

After the closure of the Bigfork's Bridge Street Bridge, several local businesses began to think about a shuttle service. With the help of the Bigfork Area Chamber of Commerce’s Fund the Fork initiative, a six-seat electric Ryd shuttle launched this month.

Gong to the Sun Road opens...

Going-to-the-Sun Road officially opened this morning for the 2024 summer season. The road may now be accessed by motorized vehicles over Logan Pass from both the West Glacier and St. Mary entrances.

As a reminder, vehicle reservations are not required at the East Entrance in 2024. St. Mary provides access to Going-to-the-Sun Road driving east to west. Please note that visitors who enter from the east side will not be able to return through the Apgar Check Point without a vehicle reservation between 6 am and 3 pm.

Vehicle reservations are needed when accessing Going-to-the-Sun Road from West Entrances. Visitors will have access to the Apgar Visitor Center and park shuttles. Daily shuttle service begins July 1.
