Above Ground Pools Tampa Scam – Andrew Fike – Sun N’ Fun Vinyl Liner Installations, LLC
On 6-9-13 I contracted Andrew Fike to Install an Above Ground Pool For Me In Tampa. He took $2,000 for the purchase of the pool and installation
I was very concerned with regards to permitting. i told him there would be an issue with permitting and added a clause to the contract that said if Permit is needed
and for whatever reason is not granted I would get a 100% refund,
We did not get the permit and he still doesn’t want to return my money
FLORIDA LAW REQUIRES A PERMIT 100% OF THE TIME EVEN FOR ABOVE GROUND POOLS FOR THE POOL CONSTRUCTION AS WELL AS THE ELECTRICAL WORK
Mr Fike wanted to do the pool without a permit and tried to have an unlicensed electrician do the electrical. When i objected to an unlicensed person doing the job I requested a refund. His Contract Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: If the client wishes to cancel this contract, the client will be required to pay for any word described in this contract that has been completed thus far”
I have asked for a refund and cancellation and as of the date of that request NOTHING was done. Now Mr Fike wants to drop off the pool without installation. I can only imagine that he is unable to get any inspections passed which is why he wants to do everything without a permit. If he was really experienced you would think he would know he needed a licensed electrician to do the job
