If you are a fan of relaxing, the thermal spa area on Explora ships is included! I spent a large chunk of time in there! The showers had "cool breeze" and "tropical storm" buttons that were just simply amazing! You can also schedule massages, facials and other spa treatments at an additional cost.

The food and drink was so good aboard the Explora I that I could post everyday about it! With 6 included ways to dine and 12 bars and lounges, there was so much variety. The lobster tail, homemade pasta and the Fil Rouge Signature breakfast (Toasted French brioche, creamy spinach, poached egg, yuzu Hollandaise, Baeri caviar) were my favorites!

Lets talk embarkation and debarkation. These can be stressful - not on Explora! It was so easy and seamless! We arrived during our window at the start of the cruise and were directed to seats. When our section was called, we were escorted to have a personal check in process and then proceeded onto the ship. We then went to our emergency station and were greeted with a drink :). Our room was ready shortly after where we watched a short safety video and were good to go! At the end, we were given a time to leave the ship and when our group was called, it was a simple walk off the ship! No big lines, no waiting forever for an elevator! Just a simple, easy process :)

Today was our last port - Key West. Such a beautiful island with lots of history. We took the hop on, hop off bus around and tried some of their famous key lime pie!

Another day, another beautiful port! Today we are in Cozumel.

Today’s destination was Belize. Absolutely beautiful! We did a river safari where we sailed on the Belize River and observed local wildlife. (Not pictured but observed : dolphin, manatee and howler monkey)

Aboard the beautiful Explora I! I am staying in an Ocean Terrace 3 stateroom and it has so many nice “extras” - check out the size of the shower! I think my favorite is the heated bathroom floor 😍

I always recommend to my clients to fly in at LEAST one day prior to your cruise (those cruise ships won’t wait for your delayed flight!!). I will be sailing out of the port of Miami. Since I am traveling solo, I wanted to make sure to get a hotel that offered shuttles from the airport to the hotel as well as from the hotel to the port. This hotel is a great option.
