It is with a mix of emotions that I announce my departure from my role as a 2nd grade teacher. Over the past 5 years, I have had the incredible privilege of being a part of the wonderful Pine Springs community, watching not only my babies grow, but my classroom of young minds flourish.

I have cherished every moment spent in the classroom, witnessing their curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm light up my classroom. The connections we've formed and the memories we've created are truly priceless. They were always on point 🌵 - Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives and for the honor of being your teacher. I will always treasure these memories and the impact you have had on my life.

I’ll be sharing a few more memories and special shout outs later this week, but please know that the lessons learned and the bonds forged will always hold a special place in my heart.

Although I am moving on to new opportunities, I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me and for the support you've given throughout my time at Pine Springs… and don’t worry, I’ll still be a volunteer Mom!

So now, for this new journey…Most of you know that in 2019, Joshua Overton and I planted Rescue Church with a hope and desire to do ministry together. Over the past few years, as God has re-written this chapter in our story, I am ecstatic to be joining the team at Zoweh! This is a promise fulfilled, to work alongside Josh, and another step on this crucial mission of helping men, women and marriages have more life, love and freedom with Jesus and one another!

BUT that’s not all! In addition to working at Zoweh, I spent the summer pursuing my dream of helping others experience the magic of Disney and officially joined MAGICAL VACATION PLANNER as a certified Travel Agent! Parenting isn’t for the faint of heart. If you’re reading this and you need some encouragement to keep going. Here it is. Keep going. Keep pursing their hearts. Model for them how to have conversations about their emotions, not just reactions to them. If you’re like me, this will be hard for you too. But things that are worth it are seldom easy. Resist the urge to just end the discussion.
