Darling ones!
Thank you so much for the time & effort you put into responding to my questionnaire about our annual “new year” retreat. As you probably have guessed, things have gotten a bit delayed in the process of locating a new space. The message I have received in this process of delay… is to lean deeply into the theme of “patience”. Seems as though this will be a guiding principle for our coming year.

I have reached out to many properties over the last 2 months (thanks to all who recommended them!) and have found a space I think will be PERFECT for us. It is an intimate venue with a great location and wonderful energy. Before I commit fully, I’m visiting the property this coming weekend just to get feet on the ground and confirm the space. It is on the rustic/eclectic side, and we will mostly be sharing rooms & bathrooms. If you are in need of a single or your own bathroom – there will be a few options for that as well at a higher cost.

The property is located near Easton MD and is right on the water. So I’m hoping it will be closer for most of us! Based on the property availability, I’m looking at the Feb 7-9 weekend. (Jan 31-Feb 2 is also available. If you are positive you are coming and can only come the earlier weekend, please let me know. I’ll take all requests into consideration but cannot guarantee accomodation to requests). Please let me know if you are still able to attend.

Here's some words I’ve put together as I begin cultivating the retreat description

Audacious Joy 2025
Now, more than ever, we must look forward with hope, with grace, with love, with connection. May the lens we view the world through be that of JOY. May we hold each other and ourselves in heartfelt love. May we shine out light brighter than ever.

2025 will be a year to remember. Join our deeply compassionate mindful community to vision forward with an abundance of joy & hope. We will dance it out, we will be bathed in healing sounds, we will create intuitively guided vision boards, we will nourish and nurture our bodies and our minds as we cleanse our energetic field and tune in to nature.
In these turbulent times, we will learn how to become water and flow with it all.
In this year of the snake, we will become adept at shedding what no longer serves us.
In this year of uncertainty, we will remember that we are the medicine we seek.

Tentative Outline:
Friday:
Check in: 12-3 pm (late arrival can be accommodated)
Circle for presence: 3-5pm (Sound, Journaling, GROUNDING)
Dinner: 6-8pm
Opening the container: 8-10pm (Sound Ceremony for CLEARING)
Saturday:
Morning Water Mindfulness: 7:30am
Breakfast: 8-9am
Circle: 10am - 12 pm (Visioning, Dreaming & Dance)
Lunch 12pm-2pm
Circle: 3pm-5pm (Visioning, Dreaming & Dance)
Dinner: 5pm-7pm
Circle: 7pm-9pm (Dance your Joy)
Sunday:
Morning River Mindfulness: 7:30am
Circle: 9am-11am (Ceremony for FILLING)
Brunch: 11-1pm
Closing: 1pm-3pm. (Witnessing & Being Witnessed)
Check out: 3-5pm.

Tentative Costs (all are approximated pending contractual details with the retreat center- this is a range that I expect the cost to fall within just to help give you a sense)

Discounted rate for those enrolled in the year long Soul Voyage journey (basically getting the retreat “at cost”)
$400-$500

Regular rate all inclusive shared room/communal bathroom (own bed)
$675-$750

Regular rate all inclusive single room (some rooms have private bath)
$825-$900

Wow! Well, Greece is on my mind, and that of quite a few others today.

We had a record number of signups on our launch day for our Dance Your Joy 2026 yoga and bellydance retreat in Santorini and Amorgos, so this trip is a GO!

With Unquote Travel and Soul Voyage Studio, Dance Your Joy is an opportunity to make new friends, soak in the sisterhood, and feel connected to nature on the island of Amorgos (with a new stop in Santorini).

What can we say about the food in Greece that hasn't already been said? We'll just say YUMMMMMM. And then we'll say OMMMMMM as we practice our yoga together during our Dance Your Joy yoga and bellydance retreat in Amorgos in Spring 2026. On October 1, we'll open registration, limited to 12 spots.

In between the morning yoga and the evening bellydancing, we spend the days hiking, exploring, and swimming in the gorgeous blue-green waters of the Aegean.
