Two hot air balloon pilots have broken the previous record for the Helen to Atlantic Balloon Race, making it to I-95 in less than seven hours. Bill Smith and Mark Meyer (flying the balloon pictured) made it to the finish line before 1:30 p.m. today, an unprecedented time for the 51 year old race.

We are getting ready for our big trip to Albuquerque for the 51st Balloon Fiesta! If you are coming to Balloon Fiesta please stop by and see us. Our launch site is L11 for our regular balloon On The Fly and on Thursday and Friday B4 for Carnival our special shape.

VOLUNTEER CREW NEEDED!

This year we're celebrating the Chesapeake Bay Balloon Festival at the Mason-Dixon Fairgrounds in DELTA, PA!

Please JOIN US Aug 4th, 5th and 6th for a good time!

No experience is necessary. Ages 18+.
(15+ w adult supervision)

Volunteering with us will get you up close and hands on experience with the balloons, working side by side with professional teams of aviation enthusiasts. Admission and parking for volunteers will be FREE and easily accessible!

Be sure to include your contact information, dates of availability and specify if you'll be available all weekend or just a portion of the time.

We need crew for morning and afternoon flights, as well as for the glow in the evenings and tether rides. There are plenty of opportunities available. 😊

We did a fun clip for our friends at #MPG during the concert while the balloons were doing a candlestick for effect since it was too windy to put the balloons up.

Here is some video footage one of our passengers took while flying over the target on the field this morning during competition. Some competitors are flying racer balloons that climb and descend quickly, handling more like a race car whereas I am flying a more traditional shape balloon and feel as though I'm driving a cargo truck. #Balloonfiesta #competition #fiestafield #abq #newmexico #nmtrue
