Thank You!!!

After many years of helping everyone as a travel specialist, my time is coming to an end. The chaotic schedule that comes with family has really picked up and this seems like the right time to step back and slow down a bit. I really appreciate everyone who has entrusted me with booking your vacations over the years. I am really thankful to have been a small part of making your family memories!

While I will no longer be formally helping people book vacations, I highly recommend reaching out to a number of our specialists at Vacations with Character, LLC ! This awesome team continues to work tirelessly to make sure people are finding their perfect vacation fit, and you are supporting a small business in return. Just last week they saved travelers thousands of dollars when a Walt Disney World promo dropped for travel in the coming months.

FUN FACT: a lot of people know about my passion for travel but many, even those who are friends and family, do not actually know that I book travel for a living. As surprising as that may be, most of them also don’t know how I get paid or particularly, that I do not charge any fees for my travel planning services. Ever! Furthermore, it's just dawned on me.... many may not know, or have any idea, how I get paid at all. 🤷 Because the agency I work with is an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and Universal Orlando Preferred Travel Agency, and I specialize in these destinations, a lot of people think they pay my salary. “Don’t you work for Disney or Universal or the Cruise Lines?"

I understand why they might be confused as this Is a GREAT question, but the answer is “no”! I own an independently operated small business that’s affiliated with a wonderful group of similar Agents at Vacations with Character LLC. We receive compensation from our suppliers when we send them customers AND they only pay us after your travel is complete! 😮

While I absolutely love talking about Disney and Universal and would like nothing more than to just to be your personal “Google”, I have found a better way to make the most of my passion: I help people plan their vacations which allows me to do what I love while being compensated for my time and thus support my family too. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

If you know me, you know my integrity is everything and I take my career very seriously. I always have my clients’ best interests at heart and because of all the time, effort, and energy I have put into my training, I know how to help with all the details for every destination I book. Plus, I lend personal touches and expertise in all that I do -- something that just can't be "googled"! Lastly, my agency and I have your back should anything go wrong (and in today's times, this is SO important!)

I am building a business I am proud of – and I’m grateful to all who have helped me achieve success in my career so far. ♥ BUT I’m not going to lie. It’s been a little rough lately because of Covid. As Disney continues to take a measured and deliberate approach to reopening the Resort hotels, we are happy to share that starting tomorrow, June 16, we will begin accepting bookings for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge for arrivals beginning Aug. 26! 🎉

As a reminder, we are now also accepting bookings for:

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn for arrivals beginning July 2 and
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for arrivals beginning in late July.

! 🎉 Walt Disney World Resort is updating Health & Safety Measures. Face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated Guests in most areas beginning June 15! Face coverings will still be required of all Guests on Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails and Disney Skyliner. While Disney will not require proof of vaccination, Guests who are not fully vaccinated should continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, and upon entering and throughout all attractions and transportation.
