Zebra Grooming
Spa day - the Zebra edit.
Here's some fun facts about zebras grooming each other:
🦓Social bonding: Zebras groom each other to strengthen their social bonds.
🦓Nibbling: When two zebras appear to be biting each other while standing head to back, they are actually nibbling on each other's necks and manes with their teeth.
🦓Scratching: Zebras scratch each other by nibbling on each other's coats to remove loose hair.
If you see two zebras standing close to each other and it looks like they're biting each other, don't worry. They're pulling loose hairs off each other as they groom. Grooming also feels good to a zebra—it's like scratching an itch.
