It's a few days passed, but wanted to share our New Years Day celebration! January 1st was our 24th wedding anniversary! I don't share it enough, but this man is literally THE BEST!

24 years went by in the blink of an eye. It's never been hard. He is supportive of me, supportive of my business, the best Dad, and my best friend. Any success that Jo's Paper Kitchen has is a direct result of of David letting me do this with my all.

It's truly a privilege to be part of this wedding world and to serve couples at such a special time in their relationship. This is the goal. A marriage that lasts. I really am living the dream.

Danny and Maddie were married a few weeks ago at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with a reception following at the Woodlands Country Club. They made the day about them and what they wanted which I absolutely loved.

This was our last wedding of 2023 to photograph and what a great one it was to end with! I can't wait to share more from this special day soon!

Montgomery! MISD families, and local friends. I am doing a giveaway with my friends (turned suite neighbors) April and Nickle and we are going to spoil 1 lucky teacher, admin or employee from MISD. They work so hard for our families all year long and I truly believe we have the best. Since the break falls so late in the month it's a struggle for teachers to feel like they get everything done. What better way then to give back some time and relaxation after this long haul since the beginning of school.

Happy Veterans Day! Grateful for those who have served our country and taught me about sacrifice.

When I had photos done for JPK I wanted to include these photos of my grandmothers because they were so foundational in making me feel confident in my kitchen and what true hospitality is. BUT that would have never happened if it weren't for the service of my Grandfathers.
This is my "Darling Grandpa". During WWII he was a pilot and shot down over enemy territory. He spent 7 months in a POW camp awaiting liberation. My grandma had a small box on her desk that he had carved for her out of a chair leg with hinges made from a tin can and lined with his uniform ❤️.

I know there are more stories like this from others.

Spring 2024 brides, just a friendly reminder that you should be checking invitations off your list. This doesn’t mean you have them or they are ready to send, but you need a plan and with the way year end holidays fall you need to plan earlier than other seasons. Your invitations should be mailed about 2 1/2 months before your day. Depending on the scope of your project you should order about 8-12 weeks out from that. September is the sweet spot for March and April brides to order. We can help you with all the other details.

Summer is here, and so are our new hours! 🌴🌞 It's important that I do all of the things well, and that includes being a mom while my kids are off for the summer. Gonna be shifting my work hours to spend the mornings with them and focus in the afternoons and evenings on client work. This means if you need an evening appointment after work I am available.

It's my joy to be their mom. When I started I had 1 in pre-k and was pregnant. These boys have seen 1000's of invitations go out the door. I am proud that they have seen their mom start and run a biz. They are part of my why. When you support me you are helping to support them.
