Does your child love to DANCE?

For the next 3 Weeks ALL LT Dance classes on Mondays and Wednesdays are going to be completely *FREE* to ANYBODY aged 8-18 wanting to partake in our Dance Workshops.

What is LT Dance?
LT Dance, is a home, for new, and experienced dancers. It runs at a pre-professional standard in order to create dedicated, dynamic and artistically developed dancers of all ages.

LT Dance aims to mirror that of its sister company; Love Theatre Arts, by ensuring the highest level of professionalism and personal ownership remains solidified as its core focus, allowing students to thrive under the teachings of our incredible tutors and teachers.

Only being taught by the best in the industry, but also ensuring performance and competition opportunity is offered to all students.

Our classes are aimed towards any ability, to which we offer a natural progressional stand on students working their way to become the dancer they wish to be.

Classes will be limited to numbers to allow students to work in an environment to which feels comfortable to learn and for a teacher to be able to teach, allowing individuality to grow, but equally allow the students to work with others.

Ability will always outweigh age, when placing a student within a class, if they are good enough, they will be pushed to achieve.

WEST END DEBUT

2 for the price of 1.

Congratulations to Shoshana and Rafi Shbero who are currently treading the boards of the Wyndham Theatre in London’s West End, playing the roles of Jacob and Sally in the New Tom Stoppard play: Leopoldstadt.

This, for so many reasons is a huge accomplishment for both.

We remember Rafi at the age of 5, a shy, charming boy whose nerves for performing in front of people, used to trouble him a lot. Fast forward a few years, and he is now performing in front of 1000s of people a week. How times change!

Shoshana, a slightly different story, primarily started life at LTA as a confident gymnast/Dancer, to which after a car accident last year, lost loads of confidence. Shoshana then found acting as her outreach to express, and a form of recovery. Now she is bouncing and flipping again, and taking her acting to the next level, to make her west end debut in a truly inspiring production.

Success is created in the journey!

Pride doesn’t even describe the feelings we are have for you two! You are superstars, and you have the whole support of LTA behind you.

CONGRATULATIONS LOGAN

They say it comes in threes….

Logan Clark, is now appearing as Michael Banks in everyone’s favourite, MARY POPPINS. After the longest stint of any Gavroche, Logan sadly said goodbye to his Les Miserables family, and headed over to Prince Edward theatre to take the stage.

Already since being there, he has performed at this years West End Live, in a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious performance, which you can catch if you missed online!

Although Logan has continued to work on stage, from the age of 7, he has continued to keep his training up with LTA, having his 1-2-1 acting and singing classes with our fabulous team. The greatest attribute Logan has, is his feet are firmly on the ground, he is still the Logan we met 4-5 years ago, he loves his football, his PlayStation, and of course his performing.

Logan continually has his infectious smile planted on his face, and enjoys every minute of what he does. Logan you are a credit and an ambassador to Love Theatre Arts and we are continually proud of everything you are achieving.

Keep up the hard work, the future is certainly bright!

WEST END DEBUT

So today marks a special day for one of our students:

For strict contract reasons we are unable to post too much information on the role, but what we can say is…. Mason Mamdally will be hitting the West End stage for the very first time, taking on a truly iconic role in the longest running Musical in the West End.

Words can’t describe how proud we are of Masun. He came to LTA as a Street Dancer, and now after his hard work, and dedication this past year, whether it was our live classes or on Zoom, he has his chance to show the west end paying public, how far he has come.

We always knew you were a star, as soon as you arrived on your first day.

You are an inspiration Masun, and a true role model to so many, although we know a few nerves may be festering today, they will soon turn into excitement and adrenaline, for you do what you do best.

Be the showman, you were destined to be.

You have the whole of LTA routing for you!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

THE NEW HOME OF DANCE

LTA is to now open their own Dance School concentrating primarily in the disciplines of Contemporary and Jazz.

After 8 years of growing LTA and providing opportunity in Musical Theatre, we feel it is now the right time to turn the page and hit the next chapter of LTA, our New Strand … Love To Dance (LT Dance)

The termly programs will provide students aged 8-21 a pre-professional standard of dance teaching in order to create a dedicated, dynamic and artistically developed dancer.

Whether you are new to dance or have experience and flair for movement, LT Dance is the new home for lyrical movement.

Through our methods we aim to provide our Dance members with a solid foundation for future training and a taste into the professional dance industry, providing opportunities to all.

With our extensive faculty, and our knowledge of the industry, our students will only be taught by the very best.

As always we will offer a 3x Taster session to each of our classes, for November ONLY.

The message we have all been waiting for....

✨LTA IS BACK✨!

It’s been a whole term coming, but finally we open our doors at Cheam High once again. We have brand new classes, big ideas, and yes.... loads of performances in the pipeline, a thought we haven’t been allowed to think, the past year!

Our first news is.... ✨PARTY IN THE PARK✨ is *ON*. Those of you that were at our 2019 ‘Rock in the Park’ will know what a spectacle it is. We put the ART into PARTY , and this term we will be working towards a Live, yes live performance for family and friends to watch and enjoy along with picnics, a band, DJ, and much much more!

Please put Saturday 17th July in the diary. *THIS IS AN EVENT NOT TO MISSED! *

Our enthusiastically incredible team are ready, the studios are ready, all we need now is the students to be ready, so set them alarms, get those jazz hands shaking, and those voices warmed up, for we can’t wait to see your smiley faces again, partaking in our fun filled classes this week.

Although covid measures will continue for the time being, the ✨FUN✨ will most certainly remain.

We would just like to take this time, to thank each and every one of you. This last year hasn’t been easy for small businesses, but your loyalty and support over the last 12 months and beyond has ensured we can continue to do what we love. We have learnt that not even a pandemic can keep LTA quiet. Although the circumstances were difficult, the memories we made this last year, are ones we will never forget!

The week will help individual confidence, fitness, rhythm and technique. The students will showcase their achievements in an end of week adaptation of Charlie & The Chocolate Factory.

Congratulations Finley!

What a fabulous start to the weekend. We have just had the news Finley Robertson has gained a Performing Arts Scholarship at Caterham School.

The news comes after a year of unfortunate events, after Finley gained the part of Gavroche in the West End hit show Les Miserables, but due to recent restrictions was unable to live out his dream.

But has that stopped Finley? Not in the slightest. Finley still has his head held high and works incredibly hard every week. The resilience Finley shows, and the passion and talent he holds is to be desired. We couldn’t be prouder of you, Finley. You are a true role model for any student at Love Theatre Arts. Congratulations Finley, you deserve every success that comes to you.
