The past two months have been!! 🎉🔥💃

I got to spend time with so many amazing friends, reconnect with old friends, and connect with new ones!

Part 1 of 3:
The past two months have been!! 🎉🔥💃
Wow, it feels like a year has passed so much has happened, so much progress and growth!

I was fortunate to spend time with family and friends, spoke at 6 conferences (including my biggest live audience at Lambeau of over 600 people!), organized 2 community events and 2 paddle cleanups, was on a podcast and recorded 3 episodes, was published in a big publication, added two team members to , met so many amazing new people and so much more!

I'm happy to share that I have a featured article in the latest issue of The New Business Review by , which is distributed to 43 counties in Wisconsin with a circulation of over 20,000 in addition to online access!

My article is called, "Sustainable Business Strategies To Save Resources & Engage Stakeholders."

Ladies night at .bayview for a big city feel in Milwaukee with notes of Thailand....now dreaming about going back for round two and reminiscing about all of the amazing food I had in Chiang Mai and Krabi back in 2017. 🍜🌴🧉

Such a fun Mother's Day with my favorite person & Mom ! 💕

We attended for the Dvořák New World Symphony with Conductor Joseph Young and violinist Alexi Kenney, which was simply amazing! This music is particularly special for us due to our Czech roots, and I played Dvořák's "Going Home" on the flute for performances for the Miss Czech Slovak Wisconsin and US pageants and other events throughout Wisconsin. We know the music well and feel it deeply, having reconnected with our family in Prague and Tabor and spending a lot of time there!

The fun continued with mochas in our to-go cups for a sea glass session at Grant Park where we found a lot of treasures...and I discovered how addicting it is, after Mom first went searching for sea glass in Nome, Alaska!

Thank you Mom for always being my biggest supporter in my unconventional ways of world travel and entrepreneurship, and always joining in on and finding new things for my sustainability + wellness antics. Love you so much!...and how we laugh together constantly, even if no one else understands it. 🥰

I spy some pelicans on the Bay of Green Bay, 2nd paddle of the season at almost 5 miles round trip, from Duck Creek out the the bay. There was not a bit of trash to be found, but you can bet we would have cleaned it up if we found any! 🛶♻️🌊

10 years ago I moved to Denver, CO....who thought I'd be back 10 years later!? 🌄

Did you know that in 2014, I started a rendition of as a side hustle while working as an IT manager for a SaaS startup, keeping food manufacturers audit ready? [Transparency is key, and that experience was priceless as it relates to sustainable practices today! Despite managing 42 accounts, long hours, and burnout, I'd still do it all over again.]

On the entrepreneur side, I worked primarily with wellness brands that offered CBD tinctures and skincare, on everything from sustainable packaging design and white labeling to web design and email marketing. Sustainability was always at the forefront of my mind and became an official pillar in 2018.

10 years flew by, and as 2024 is already a year of transition and leveling up, I'm looking forward to the next 10! will be 5 this summer! 🎉

Slow.....Fashion....I always start here. Fast fashion can include unfair labor practices and wages and a ton of unhealthy chemicals. Sometimes you just need a Target run, but it's important to try your best when you can for you, as a person & the planet. 🌍

Taking a moment to pause before a lot of speaking engagements and events from last week....wow, it feels like a month ago, so much has happened and things are moving so fast! I am grateful for the opportunities and for what's next!
