Watched the storms goto the North and East all afternoon, eventually I was "clipped" by one; with what has seemed like a hot and dry summer any bit helps.
Tropical storm Isaias_080420
I went into Adobe Premier this afternoon to edit a little clip that I shot of last night's little shower, and I realized that I had never finished my project from Tropical Storm Isaiaes from earlier this month.

May Day Sun Set
Lazy mans time lapse: set up through the window, no location scouting (physical or digitally), no setting up motion control none of that.
Yesterday evening was doing some work at my computer; I glanced out the window and the clouds were beautiful, and thought that would make a nice time lapse. In the middle of other projects I wasn't really ready to drop what I was doing, and that is when I pulled out the “lazy mans time lapse”.
Popped the screen out of the window, set up the tripod, leveled and framed the shot, adjusted my camera settings, and let it go. You will notice a reflection, but that's what you get for being lazy I guess.
Like a cherry on top there's a rainbow, well part of one.

Happy 50th 🌎 Day From KJCS.
Here is a bit of a time lapse project from yesterday's cold front. I was not planning on doing a time lapse, though while watching the skies I figured I would be lazy and set up through my window, what did I have to loose.
Well about 8 hours: 3 hours in shooting, 2 hours of processing images close to 4000 images, 2 hours of rendering into a video, and then an hour of what the hell.
Camera was on a tripod. I was pretty much “hot swapping” batteries (Sony batteries suck), so that would add camera movement, but that would be a noticeable disturbance, and you can plan for that. What is causing all the motion, and I believe it is because I have “floating flooring” and each one of my steps will “transmit” throughout the room meaning tripod movement.
I tried everything that I knew to calm the movement, and that was where the final hour came into play. I learned a few new tricks via YouTube, though none worked for this project. So, disappointed I waved the white flag.
Edit: I now know that it was a post processing error on my part, eh live and learn.

Rising Tide & Passing Clouds, a bit of calm that I captured last week.
First time with Syrp's pan/tilt setup.
On a soggy Sunday night, here's a half hours of worth of social distancing from this past Friday's "spring-ish" evening at Chittenden Park (just a note, audio is not from that evening, but pulled from my audio recording collection).
