Greta has guided adventure travel and wilderness treks for many years across the western states and Alaska, coordinated an academic travel organization in the Czech Republic, is raising four kids, and was a competitive alpine skier since the age of 5. Dr. Palmer, or "DB" for short, is Director of Counseling & Wellness at Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage Alaska. His academic work focuses on both counseling psychology and adventure-based psychology. Dr. Palmer is a regular presenter for adventure organizations and principal researcher for a number of outdoor-based organizations. His counseling practice has spanned over 13 years, and he has also guided adventure travel/wilderness treks for over 15 years across the western states and internationally.
