The Wanderella Come travel with me as I wander off the beaten path wearing my glass slippers in New York City and the rest of the world. I travel as much as I can.

It does not matter if it’s a 10-hour long red-eye flight or a half an hour train ride away. I travel for curiosity, culture, and experience. And this is what this blog is all about—to ignite curiosity, to appreciate culture, and to immortalize the life-changing experiences, in NYC and beyond. I am mostly sharing my bygone travels because of three reasons: first, travel is only glamorous in retrosp

ect; second, I love the idea of being random—no pressure of posting right after the trip while I am still nursing my jet lag; and lastly, it is only by looking back on the visited places that one see from the heart—not blinded by the fairy tale of being somewhere far from the familiar. Let’s wander.

Starting a new job and at the same time moving is like sailing off to a sea in a middle of a storm. The only thing that keeps me sane is knowing that when this sea calms down, I am going ashore and wander. And maybe find some treasures.

A fellow wanderluster, Cynthia of , shared this photo of the Gum Wall in Seattle. It's amazing how something that is individually gross could be something collectively beautiful, but still gross. ☀️☀️☀️For more interesting places to check out, follow and be inspired. ☀️☀️☀️

Sometimes we just need to pack and head to the airport to realize that there really is more to life than what we already know. As my fellow wanderluster, Tiffany of puts it: "Living fearlessly adventurous." I couldn't agree with her more—on this, and all the other inspiring posts in her feed. Follow for a needed dose of inspiration. Yes, we all need inspiration.

Almost 2 years ago, life showed me that change is inevitable and in retrospect, change always brings something good. I had my own place and adorned it with thoughtfully curated pieces. I love it and never really thought that, sooner than expected, life will send me a bittersweet reminder that nothing lasts forever. So I am selling EVERYTHING in my apartment—furniture, appliances, and décors—unless my mom wants it I posted some stuff on AptDeco (https://www.aptdeco.com/user/view/index/id/23443). So if anyone here is interested or knows someone who might be interested who lives in NYC area , please let me know!
