The bees LOVE this stuff - Wingstem, or Yellow Ironweed - makes a nice golden honey varietal. Have enough of it here at Paw Paw creek to pull several nice frames of it this fall, thanks to all the rain. Goldenrod is just starting to bloom and should also be abundant, mmmmmm good honey!

Bees are enjoying the warm weather today for fresh air amd a quick cleansing flight, buzzzz!

Check out the pollen caked on this honey bee, thats how pollination works! Taken yesterday evening.
