Peace Officers Memorial Day falls on May 15 each year to pay tribute to the brave local, state, and federal peace officers who have died or been disabled in the line of duty. Falling in Police Week, the day is marked with a memorial event in Washington D.C., a candlelight vigil, and speeches commemorating officers past and present. Thank you to all at WPD.

Our Islamorada buddies getting visits from our shark buddies! That’s it WE ARE COMIN!!!!!!

We have been very lucky these past few days enjoying the company of 50+ Bonnet Head Sharks! These cute and curious sharks have been hanging out on a dive site we call Morada!

The bonnethead, also called a bonnet shark or shovelhead, is a small member of the hammerhead shark genus Sphyrna, and part of the family Sphyrnidae.
