When can you go on safari with kids?

Kids can go on safari at any age. What it comes down to is your itinerary design - trip length, activities, types of accommodations and more. We have been honored to help create many unforgettable family memories over the years.

Wanna see some baby animals? Then the Green season is an excellent time to see plenty of young animals.

The onset of the rains brings the promise of food and water, so the parks come alive with new young - calves, cubs, puppies, foals, piglets and everything in between. A major perk of the green season.

The Green Season in Tanzania and the Greater East African region runs from November (the beginning of the short rainy season) onto May (the end of the long rainy season).

FAQ: Are animals hard to spot during the rain season?
No animals aren’t hard to spot during the green season. The green season also known as the rainy season makes for excellent game viewing. The onset of rain brings with it new life like fresh grass, which in turn spurs new off spring - both prey and predators. The green season is as good a time to spot wildlife especially young animals.

Green season is loading!

Soon the rainy season will be underway in Tanzania and the bush will transform from dry, brown and beige tones of our winter to lush green. The migration in Serengeti is making its way South from the Maasai Mara in time for calving a few months later, migratory birds return, flowers bloom and the insects come out. That means one thing: summer is here.

The green season (November to May) is what we call the secret season. It brings with it plenty of benefits such fewer crowds, prolific wildlife sightings, good value for money.

World Leopard Day!

What better way to celebrate International Day of Happiness than with a toast to travel. 

Nothing brings more joy to us than creating special trips for you to our corner of the world. Sleeping under the stars in a tented lodge on safari. Delicious lunch out in the open savannah in Serenegti. Coming face to face with a Silverback Gorilla and their troop in tow. Conquering the challenge that is Mt. Kilimanjaro.
These are moments that make our hearts joyous and happy!
