Built in 1848, Brooklyn's Boro Hall used to be known as Brooklyn's CITY Hall. What happened? The Great Mistake of '98 - 1898 that is. 😂 (But Brooklynites weren't so happy about it back then.)
Biggie might be gone, but everyday we're still hustlin'. Learn more about him on our Private Biggie Smalls - In Brooklyn We Go Hard Tour.

What are you most looking forward to once NYC reopens? The pizza? The Chinese food? The bagels? (Guess what we miss the most...) or is it the cultural institutions, like the Met, Lincoln Center or Broadway?
We most look forward to taking our private tour clients (and their kids!) to local foodie hotspots, like this visit to Scarrs Pizza in the Lower East Side. Because not only are we supporting small businesses but we’re also showing our guests what REAL NY PIZZA is like, eaten alongside REAL NYers!!
WOWOW!! One of our star tour guides Megan Marod gave us a HUGE shout out during her WFUV News interview - we get mentioned at the 6:50 mark - but definitely watch the whole thing!! Go Megan Go!!

Things aren't normal in NYC, nor are they around the world. We are hesitant, scared, anxious, concerned, you name it, we all feel it. But those feelings are temporary - New York is forever. We are resilient. New Yorkers bounce back. The Big Apple will shine again, with all the energy of the locals and especially the energy of the millions of tourists who stay in our hotels, eat at our restaurants and book our tours.
By taking the pledge you give like ours a hope and a clear vision forward - to keep working towards providing the best custom and private tour experiences available. Gift cards for private tours (like Matt's Brooklyn Beats & Eats tour!) are available on our website. We love NY more than ever.
If you can name this fountain, then odds are you can name a handful of movies in which it stars! Which means that all-star LUNY! tour guide Gary Dennis will have a run for his money with his 25 questions focusing on TV & Movie Trivia tomorrow night, 8pm, on IG Live!! Seeya there!
Our speakeasy experience is now being listed with Custom VIP Experiences as a way to get travelers excited about traveling again. And we are excited to be hosting travelers in our house and creating the perfect NYC experience for them!

The view right now from our cabin in . Missing our city but it feels great to be in nature and to be reading all the heroic stories of medical professionals and people in the line of danger everyday.
To Members of the LUNYverse (all our wonderful tour and experience clients around the world, past, present and future. . .)
The world has, within the timeframe of a week, become something completely unrecognizable, due to the fast-moving and heartbreaking effects of the new COVID-19 disease. What we once thought was unstoppable – the NYC Tourism Industry – is not only a shell of its former self but something that will take months, if not years, to fully revive.
We feel for the tens of thousands of student groups who are not going to fulfill their life’s dream of seeing Times Square; walking through Central Park; learning about 911. We hurt for the hundreds of private and corporate tour groups that had to shelve their family vacation; their staff retreat; their team-building experience. We ache for the dozens and dozens of tour operators who have seen their steady, decades-old business vanish in a matter of hours. We empathize with the countless tour guides, NYC’s best, who depend on the companies like LUNY! to pay their bills, live their NYC livelihoods and most importantly, share their passion for the stories and people who make New York New York.
We are one of the lucky companies. We have close to no overhead, we have the trust and faith of dozens of tour operators with whom we’ve been working for close to two decades, and we have our health, our homes, our families, our resilience. New York City will bounce back. Tourism will return. It will not come quickly but it will return. And we will still be here to show countless visitors OUR New York City, what made it great, and what will make it great again.
Yours in Tourism,
Matt and Mark Levy
