The Vijay Vilas Palace, situated 8 km west of Mandvi, was constructed by Rao Vijayrajji in 1940. The palace was a summer retreat of the Maharao of Kutch. Covering an area of around 700 acres, the palace has umbrella shaped domes along with cupolas in Bengali and Rajasthani architectural styles. The walls of the palace are decorated with hunting trophies and paintings dating back to the reign of Rao Vijayrajji.
Scenes from the Bollywood blockbusters Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam(This is the place where the romance for Aish and Salman was shot) and Lagaan, Commando as well as a number of Gujarati films, were shot in the palace.

Start from Mumbai - Dadar at 6 am and reach Malavali by 9 am.
• Post Heavy Breakfast, we will leave Proceed to the base village.
• We will sta the trek @ 10:00 am and reach the top by 12 noon.
• We will explore the fog covered fo & Shayadri valley views for the next
two hours.
• We will sta descending @ 2 pm and reach the base village by 4 pm.
• Post late local mouthwatering lunch; we will sta return journey to
Mumbai at around 6 pm and reach Mumbai back by 10 pm.
