Mexico Birding Trail With over 1000 species of birds, Mexico is an exceptional place to visit. We designed The Mexico Bird

Join us on the Mexico Birding Trail to explore the country’s incredible diversity of birds and habitats. From the dry grasslands of the Chihuahuan Desert to the pine-oak forests of the Sierra Madre Occidental to the magnificent islands of the Gulf of California, Mexico has much to offer. We designed The Mexico Birding Trail to help birders plan trips that contribute directly to conservation effort

s. At each location highlighted on Trail, Sonoran Joint Venture partners have ongoing bird and habitat conservation projects. When you visit these sites and hire local guides trained as part of the SJV Bird Guide Program, you know that your fees are contributing directly to the conservation and management of vital bird habitat and supporting ongoing monitoring, research, and environmental education and community outreach efforts.

A year ago this month the The University of Arizona campus community became focused on a cable hanging precariously from a new building. A hummingbird had built her nest on the end of an internet cable at the new Environment and Natural Resources Building on the UA campus. Crews from University Information Technology Services worked with the Planning, Design and Construction department to install a we**am over the nest. The we**am started feeding 24 hours a day and ended up getting over 250,000 viewers by the time the baby hummingbirds left the nest.

ENTIERRAN PLAN TURÍSTICO EN CABO PULMO
SEMARNAT has once again issued a denial to developers of Cabo Cortes/Cabo Dorado. An important statement in a time of widespread concessions in Mexico.

Wow! A beautiful poster from Baja California Sur!

Go Birding in Baja California Sur".
