One seat remains! If you’ve sailed on one of my cruises or been to any of the previous Pahrump Polymer Paloozas, you can sign up for the last opening today or tomorrow via early registration. If any seats remain, they’ll be offered to the general public on Monday, May 31st).
The 5th Annual Pahrump Polymer Palooza is being held September 15th - 18th (checkout day) in Pahrump Nevada (about 45 minute drive from Las Vegas) at the Wine Ridge Resort and RV park, adjacent to the award winning Pahrump Valley Winery and restaurant.
This year's classes:
Day 1: Playing with Patterns - Clay meets image patterns and resin! We'll be working with both open-sided and bezel frame components
Day 2: Metal and Mokume: Learn how easy it is to create Fine Silver (.999) frames with a handheld butane torch and create stunning Mokume Gane focal fills with Lisa's web surface effect.
Our evening Meet & Greet is Thursday the 15th and classes will be held Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th from 8:00pm - 5:00pm. Check out is on the 18th.
The class fee is $450 and includes all tools and materials (except a clay dedicated pasta machine and clamps. A limited number of loaner machines with clamps is available for a $10.00 rental fee). Your class fee also includes: daily Continental breakfast, snacks, light bites for lunch, bottled water, coffee/tea bar, nightly dinners, evening wine tastings for those who imbibe, a welcome goodie bag, a class swag bag filled with loads of creative goodies, give always galore, a bonus demo, and surprises all weekend!
The classes are open to,anyone 18 years or older, all skill levels.
Accommodation reservations are booked directly with The Wine Ridge Resort at 775-751-7508. Standard cottages are $93.85 with tax per night, Casitas are $176.94 per night, standard RV spaces are $30 and pull-through RV spaces are a few dollars more. Each cottage and casita is equipped with a full kitchen and grocery stores are a few miles away.
