Dear friends,
The year 2021 has been an unpredictable ride through the pandemic, protests and many more difficulties that had made living life quite hard for people across the globe. But as we near the end of this year, we all should accept the fact that with every passing year, one should leave behind the bad memories and mistakes. So now, as we embrace the upcoming year, 2022, let us all be positive and cheery with shining spirits and aspirations for the future. We should vow to not let the negative times affect us in looking forward to the future and working hard to achieve our dreams and ambitions. So, let us all embrace the new year with much-needed hopes and happiness.
For a second year now we are celebrating holidays with Covid pandemic still raging. A bit tired not to be able to live our lifes to the fullest. If one thing, this pandemic has forced us to think about our priorities. Some have started or expanded their families, some have made career changes …. and some have quietly left to live in other country.
I remember writing last years good wish card to you all, I was in a different city like most of you missing my friends, missing normal life and beeing a bit scared. Today like I would think most of you I feel like I have started a new chapter in my life, I have changed personally, I have changed my career paths and have changed my living location. On behalf of Zagreb expat, I would like to wish you all happy holidays. Be happy, safe and stay close to each other. If you miss someone, tell them. Send them a text, call or write them an e-mail.
As you may have noticed, Zagreb expat meet up has not organized meet up's for quite some time. We always looked to show you around Zagreb in best way with some cool locations and theme parties. I hope that time for all of us to come together will come again soon. Untill then, many thanx to those who post their things here, you are the best !!!!
