First Ride Season 2018
We are away for cycling season 2018. With snow melting fast and blue sky here in Hokkaido, Lucy couldn't resist getting out the first ride of the year. A bit cold though, maximum was 2 degree! And within a week we head to Shikoku for our Spring Cherry blossom ride. www.cyclingtoursjapan.com

Playground of The Gods
Had a great ride along the Asahikawa Sounkyo cycle way a few days ago. It is part of our new "Playground of the Gods" ride that circumnavigates Daisetsusan National park. This day is 73 km and 40 km of that is a dedicated cycle track along the mighty Ishikari River, with the mountains of Northern Taisetsu looming in the background. www.cyclingtoursjapan.com

Almost perfect day riding in the Japan Alps. (Apart from a head wind up the valley!). Blue sky, snow capped peaks and little traffic. Our last night in Uwajima on the Cycle Shikoku tour is always a bit of a celebration at my favourite "Izakaya". One of the specialities is this fried preserved "Saba" (Mackerel). Had to fight Clancy for the best bits. www.cyclejapan.com.au
