Aujourd'hui j'ai fait 11h d'ascension pour 1h30 de descente.
Pour passer le temps et garder le moral je me suis amusé à chercher des comparaisons.
Ainsi donc, aujourd'hui, j'ai accouché :
- j'ai senti des contractions tout au long de la journée
- j'ai poussé de toute mes forces
- j'étais dégoulinant de sueur, la tête rouge, en train d'insulter tout et n'importe quoi entre mes dents serrées
- les personnes qui me voyaient avaient l'air étonnées puis m'encourageaient
- à plusieurs moments j'ai laissé ma tête en arrière en disant : c'est trop dur, j'y arriverai pas, avant de réessayer encore et encore.

Après des efforts titanesques j'ai eu droit à un magnifique bébé : 50kms de plat, un beau bitume plat et lisse avec ciel dégagé. Je l'ai appelé Herbert.
Il est magnifique. J'en aurais pleuré si la transpiration n'avait pas complètement asséché mon corps.
La maman et le bébé vont bien même si la mère est très fatiguée et a besoin de se reposer.

Ça, c'est Gilbert.
Comme la route était complètement plate et droite tout l'après-midi et qu'il n'y avait rien à voir à part des champs, Gilbert a été assez courtois pour se poser sur ma main et discuter avec moi (j'ai beaucoup fait la partie parole).
Chic type, très à l'écoute, 10/10.

Aujourd'hui un vieux m'a dit de prendre la petite route de la forêt car elle est "goudronnée et en excellent état". Après quatre heures à pousser mon vélo dans les fougères, à le porter sur 200m à travers les ronces et les orties et à me faire dévorer par les insectes, j'ai pu établir qu'il s'agissait d'un mensonge.
Honte à toi Marcel, je te retrouverai et j'aurai ma vengeance, dans cette vie ou dans la suivante...
