OKAY... let's talk about the Disney Cruise Line for a minute!!

One of my travel goals for 2024 is to get more of you setting sail on a Disney Cruise!! Why??

DISNEY CRUISES ARE AWESOME!!

Dan and I have been on the Disney Cruise Line before, and it was one of the best Disney experiences we have ever had!! It was so interesting talking to a lot of different guests on that cruise because honestly half of them weren't even "Disney people". They just always cruise Disney because of the quality, customer service, cleanliness, innovation, and so much more!! That says a lot about how amazing the Disney Cruise Line is!!

DISNEY WORLD DAY #11

-Today was our last day at Disney World!! This was the longest Disney trip we’ve ever been on, and it was so much fun!!

-We visited the spa at the Grand Floridian, which was such a nice treat after so many days in the parks. We both received something called, “Tired Feet Rejuvenation”, and it was amazing!! It essentially was a treatment for tired and sore feet after walking around in the parks for so long. The spa also had a really lovely amenities section to enjoy, as well!!

-After an afternoon of relaxing, we headed to the airport to fly back home!!

DISNEY WORLD DAY #10

-Officially done with the parks!! Today, we started the new year at Chef Mickey’s for breakfast. They actually have a really good breakfast, and I had a delicious Bloody Mary, as well!!

-We walked around The Contemporary for a little bit, and then headed back to our resort where we relaxed by the pool for a few hours.

-After some much needed pool relaxation time, we headed to The Boardwalk. Dan had some mocktails and watched the intense U of M football game!! And I walked along The Boardwalk and ate a bunch of sweets. Hahaha!! I also watched some of the performers on The Boardwalk, as they are so fun to watch!!

-We finished up the night with dinner at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop!!

DISNEY WORLD DAY #9

-We decided to spend New Year’s Eve in Epcot!! We got a later start to the morning because we knew it would be a long night…

-We got Genie+ for the day and got to ride Soarin’, Spaceship Earth, the finding Nemo ride, and the Ratatouille ride. We also got a virtual queue spot for Guardians of The Galaxy, and walked through the new Moana water exhibit.

-Lunch was at Space 220, and it was such a unique experience!! Not only was the experience super cool, but the food and drinks were out of this world!!

-I created my own glass art night light right next to the Germany pavilion!! This is such a unique souvenir for your Disney trip, and I’ve been wanting to do this for a while!!

-Things started to get wild as the sun set, and the different DJ artists came out at the various countries!! China is where we stayed the whole night, as the DJ was so awesome, and the dancing was so fun!! We watched the midnight show fireworks, and continued dancing until 1:00 AM!!

DISNEY WORLD DAY #8

-It was our second day at Hollywood Studios!! We started off at Toy Story Land, where we rode all the rides and then had lunch at Rodeo Round-Up BBQ. This is one of my favorite themed restaurants at Disney World!! It was our first time here, and we’d definitely go back again!!

-After a busy morning, we headed back to our resort where we napped on our favorite hammocks again!!

-When we got back to Hollywood Studios, I found the peace sweatshirt I had been looking for!! It has been fairly chilly down here… and my new sweatshirt is so warm!!

-For dinner, we ate at Hollywood & Vine. This was a character dining experience where all the characters were decked out in festive attire!! This trip, I’ve been having characters sign a picture frame for me!!

-Now, since it was officially dark… we headed on over to ride Tower of Terror. Tower of Terror just hits differently when you ride it at night!!

-After Tower of Terror, we headed back to Toy Story Land because it is so magical at night!! We were one of the last people to ride Slinky Dog Dash, and it was the best way to end the night!!

DISNEY WORLD DAY #7

-It was our second day at Magic Kingdom, and we got Genie+ for this day. Honestly, we probably saved about 4 hours in lines because of Genie+!!

-I tried 2 things I’ve never tried before… Jingle Cruise and Country Bear Jamboree. I can confidently say, I don’t ever need to watch the Country Bear Jamboree ever again. Hahaha!!

-We had a huge cinnamon roll and Le Fou’s Brew at Gaston’s Tavern, tried a Merry Unbirthday cupcake, and created our own Mickey Mouse sundae. All of the above was very tasty!!

-Dan spotted a cast member drawing water characters, and we watched him for a few minutes. It’s one of my favorite things at the Disney parks!!

-Dan achieved Galactic Hero status on the Buzz Lightyear ride, and got a special button because of it!! This is his second time getting Galactic Hero, and I would have no doubt in my mind that he would put this on his resume.

-We rode Tron in the first row, and it was awesome!! A way different experience than the first time we rode it!!

-We ate dinner at Be Our Guest, which is always a dining favorite for us!!

-Lastly, we got a great spot to watch the fireworks!! There were so many firework concepts that we both had never seen before. Disney really has the best fireworks ever!!

DISNEY WORLD DAY #6

-Rain was the theme of our day at Animal Kingdom… it was horrible, but we made the best of it!! We arrived early, and rode Dinosaur and Expedition Everest TWICE.

-We met dinosaur themed Chip and Dale, along with Daisy and Donald. Chip was super sassy, and I loved it!!

-We took shelter from the rain at different times by having some hot chocolate, and mocktails at Nomad’s Lounge. Dan had a salted caramel hot chocolate, and I had a s’mores hot chocolate!!

-In the afternoon, we went on a special backstage tour called, “Caring for Giants”. This tour showcases the elephants of Animal Kingdom. We even got to see the new baby, Corra!!

-Finished up our time at Animal Kingdom by watching Festival of The Lion King, and It’s Tough to be a Bug!!

-Once we left Animal Kingdom, we traveled on over to Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner. Before dinner, we watched the animals and talked with a lot of cast members from Africa about how much we love Africa!!

DISNEY WORLD DAY #5

-It was our day off from the parks… which was so needed!! We slept in, had Mickey waffles for breakfast, and relaxed on the beach in the comfiest hammocks ever!!

-In the early afternoon, we made our own mosaic tiles at our resort!! We have never done anything like this at Disney before, and it was such a fun thing to try!!

-We then headed to Disney Springs where we did some shopping and walking around to look at all the different Disney inspired Christmas trees!!

-We had an Italian dinner, and then grabbed some late night drinks and snacks at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, which was decked out in Christmas attire!!

-To finish the night strong, we snagged some Mickey shaped, chocolate covered gingerbread cookies from The Ganachery!!

DISNEY WORLD DAY #4

-Today was a Hollywood Studios day!! We started our day off in Galaxy’s Edge!! We rode Rise of The Resistance and Smugglers Run… and we were the pilots!! Dan then made a light saber, which we’ve been waiting to do for a long time now!!

-After tooling around Galaxy’s Edge for a little longer, we then rode a few more rides in Hollywood Studios!!

-After some rides, we watched a few shows… and went through the “Walt Disney Presents” exhibit. As a true Disney fan, I love reading about all the Disney history!!

-We ate dinner at The Brown Derby, and then watched Fantasmic!! It was also magical walking through Hollywood Studios because it was “snowing”!!

-At the very end of the day, we had drinks at Oga’s Cantina and played with the light saber in a completely empty Galaxy’s Edge!!

DISNEY WORLD DAY #3

-We spent Christmas in Epcot!! When we first arrived to the park, we walked around the new area directly behind Spaceship Earth. The landscaping is lovely, and there’s a new statue of Walt!!

-Right off the bat, we knocked off the Remy and Frozen ride!! We then headed to Living With The Land, where there was a Christmas overlay on the entire ride!! And of course, we rode Guardians of The Galaxy!!

-We tried some specialty food around the different countries, and our favorite was a Mickey shaped liquid nitrogen cake pop!!

-There were different Christmas festivities going on… like Christmas carolers and characters dressed in Christmas attire!!

-We ate dinner at Canada, and then had reserved seating for the Candlelight Processional… where Steven Curtis Chapman was the guest narrator!!

-The day ended with watching the new Epcot firework show!!

DISNEY WORLD DAY #2

-We got up super early and made it to Magic Kingdom by 7:00 AM!! We were there so early, we got some amazing photos and videos in front of the castle!!

-Due to our quick walking and excellent planning, we were able to ride 10 rides, with most of these rides being a direct walk on!!

-We watched the afternoon Christmas parade, and snagged the best seat in the house… Santa’s sleigh!!

-After some time at Magic Kingdom, we headed to Fort Wilderness. We visited the Disney horse stables, which was beautifully decorated for Christmas!! We also walked around the campground and saw some epic golf cart and campsite Christmas decorations!! We wrapped up here with a dinner show at Hoop-Dee-Doo R***e!!

-After dinner, we headed back to Magic Kingdom where we watched their special fireworks show and castle show!!

DISNEY WORLD DAY #1

-Dan and I arrived for our 10 day holiday vacation at Disney!! We are staying in the tower at Coronado Springs… as we’ve never stayed in the tower before!!

-We spent the afternoon at the pool, as it was a beautiful, sunny day!!

-After the pool, we got ready for the evening and went to the resort bonfire. I purchased a Mickey s’mores kit, and it was delightful!! The Mickey graham cracker was my favorite part!!

-We ate dinner at Toledo, which is on the top floor of our resort. This is a Spanish infused restaurant, and was really yummy!! We cleaned our plates of everything we got!!
