A sprinkle of the good stuff goes a long way around here. ❄️
Photo Proof courtesy Grange of Prince Edward Vineyards & Estate Winery
Come see it for yourself.
Behind Grange, there weaves a beautiful network of trails and the Grange invites us all to explore them. (So nice of them)
Bring a little pick me up - whether that be a newly purchased bottle of wine, your dog, or a close friend or family member. Crunch along the frost covered leaves and breath in slow - letting the smell of fresh air fully fill your lungs.
PEC offers the recharge you need or never knew you needed.

Lake on the Mountain Resort is a whole vibe… and that vibe is vacation-mode (even us locals feel it). One of Ontario’s natural wonders, Lake on the Mountain Resort is perched over 62 metres above Lake Ontario and has spectacular views of the Bay of Quinte, the Glenora Ferry and the North Shore. Choose from the farm-to-table offerings at The Inn with beautiful views of Lake on the Mountain OR head across the street to The Miller House for a bite and watch the ferry crossing 200 feet below in the Adolphus Reach. Either choice is just as relaxing, delicious and hospitable. Make sure before or after you add a visit to the Lake on the Mountain Brewing Company (just down the hill) to stock up on some of their delicious craft brews. You can cross off a lot of boxes in one visit: ✔️ Visit a Provincial Park. ✔️ Lunch with a view. ✔️ Support a local craft brewery. ✔️ Capture one of Ontario’s natural wonders #PrinceEdwardCounty #PEC #CountyUp #DiscoverON #VisitTheCounty #SouthEasternOntario #TheCounty #DiscoverOntario #VisitTheCounty #LakeontheMountain #ProvincialPark #lakeontario
First things first: Struisvogel is Dutch, meaning ostrich. Struisvogel Ranch is a fun experience for all ages (seriously). Their self-guided ‘Ostrich Walk’ allows you to stroll alongside and feed the ostrich, stand on an ostrich egg and learn all about these amazing birds. The entire set up is pretty spectacular, just like the jerky. Speaking of Ostrich meat… you can feel good about the environmental footprint of an Ostrich Ranch. It leaves a fraction of the environmental footprint of beef, by using 1/3 the fresh water, 1/50 the land, and emitting less than 1/10 the greenhouse gases per pound produced. Orders can be made online (with delivery within Ontario). Make sure you add them to your list of places next time you visit PEC. #PrinceEdwardCounty #PEC #CountyUp #DiscoverON #VisitTheCounty #SouthEasternOntario #TheCounty #DiscoverOntario #VisitTheCounty #greattasteofontario #Ostrich #Experience #Ranch

🔥 Hot and new in 2021... @sandbankspp and #NorthBeachPP are part of the @OntarioParks pilot project to introduce a day-use booking system at 17 Parks across the Province. What does this mean for you? 🔥 You MUST reserve your day use (i.e. beach time) in advance to guarantee your spot. 🔥 You can book up to 5 days in advance. 🔥 DO NOT head to Sandbanks or North Beach without a day-use reservation. 🔥 You can book online through reservations.ontarioparks.com. You'll need to create an account. Select "Day Use" and Day-use Vehicle Permit from the options. From there, select your preferred park and date from the drop-down list and you'll be on your way. 🔥 If you have a Seasonal Pass for Ontario Parks, you MUST still make a Day-use Vehicle Permit booking. You will enter your seasonal pass serial number in the booking process to get a FREE day permit. 🔥 Day permits are non-refundable, non-transferrable and are tied to your licence plate and Ontario Parks account. 🔥 Even if you're planning to do sun salutations on the beach at sunrise, take a quick afternoon dip, or take a sunset stroll... you will need a day-use vehicle permit. As of the time of posting, there are day-use vehicle permits available at both beaches this weekend. Happy booking!
We miss you so much. Can't wait for you to visit. But now is not the time. 💛We've had many inquiries today about whether or not you can visit The County this weekend. We are, like every community in Ontario, under stay-at-home orders from the province. 💛Please stay home, stay safe, get vaccinated at your earliest opportunity, and make a plan for an amazing County vacation to celebrate when we're on the other side of this. xo #VisitTheCounty #TheCounty #PEC #PrinceEdwardCounty #VisitPEC #StayHomeStaySafe
