BIG Walt Disney World News today!

✨2024 Packages are releasing for bookings on May 31!!

✨After January 9, 2024 date-based tickets will NO LONGER require Park Reservations!

✨Disney Dining Plans are BACK for check-ins beginning January 9, 2024!!

✨ All onsite guests will continue to have Early Park Entry. Those staying in Deluxe Resorts will also have extended evening hours on select dates!

✨ Disney is also working on ways to pre plan with Genie+! More updates to come! 🥳

Walt Disney World released Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party dates today!! Starting this year on August 11th and running select nights through November 1st!

Go Trick-or-Treating around the Magic Kingdom park, watch the Boo to You Halloween Parade, see the Sanderson Sisters at the Hocus Pocus Villians Spectacular, and see the Not-so-Spooky Spectacular nighttime show!!

Tickets will go on sale starting April 27th for guests staying at a Walt Disney World resort, so if you would like to attend the Halloween party this year now is the time to get your reservation booked!

Some exciting Disney news! The popular MagicBand+ technology used at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will start to make its way to Disney Cruise Line, beginning with a preview opportunity on select Disney Wish sailings before it officially debuts! At Disney Cruise Line, they are calling it DisneyBand+.

Walt Disney World dropped a whole bunch of news this morning for things upcoming in 2023!!

🌊 Moana will begin meet & greets at Animal Kingdom on April 22nd.

💥 Figment will begin meet & greets at Epcot this summer.

🦋 Mirabel will begin meet & greets at Magic Kingdom this fall.

Epcot will become the center of the Disney 100-Year Celebration and with that will be some new experiences as well!

🌊 Journey of Water inspired by Moana will be opening this fall

🌟 CommuniCore Hall will be opening later this year with a new character greeting location for Mickey & friends.

🎆 A new nighttime spectacular will be debuting later this year too!

Universal Orlando Resort Update ahead of Hurricane Ian:

Universal Orlando Resort, including CityWalk, will close on Sept. 28 & remain fully closed on Sept. 29. We anticipate reopening on Sept. 30 as conditions permit.

Our hotels are currently at full capacity and will remain operational as they take care of our guests.

Halloween Horror Nights will be canceled Sept. 28-29. We anticipate reopening the event on Sept. 30 conditions permitting.

Update from Walt Disney World ahead of Hurricane Ian:

Given the latest projections for Hurricane Ian, Walt Disney World theme parks and water parks will be closed on Wednesday, Sept. 28 and Thursday, Sept. 29. Disney Springs will be closed on Wednesday, Sept. 28. We anticipate Disney Springs will be closed on Thursday, Sept. 29, and we will provide updates as we continue to track the storm.
We are monitoring weather conditions so we can make timely decisions for the safety of our Cast and Guests, including when it’s safe for Cast to return to the site to prepare for reopening.

Just announced!! MagicBand+ is debuting on July 27th at the Walt Disney World Resort! It will be sold at select retailers in the parks and resorts.

Guests of Walt Disney World resorts will be able to order these bands prior to their arrival on their My Disney Experience, but they are not yet available for ordering and no date has been released for online availability.

MagicBand 2.0 will still be available and functional as well, so no worries there!

It’s time to band together because MagicBand+ is launching July 27 at Walt Disney World Resort!

🐶 Just $100 flat fee for your entire stay for up to 2 pets per room-MUCH cheaper than boarding. Great for if you live close enough to drive or are able to fly with your pet!

🐶 Every pet gets a goodie bag, both pups here got the items you see in the photos.

🐶 Designated pet wing that is located right next to a “Pet Park”.

🐶 Kennels available at Citywalk for your park day or you can take advantage of many pet sitting services- you’ll get the full list at check-in.

🐶 You receive a welcome letter with all the details of what the program includes at check-in!
